Lol I deleted my message by mistake

The Iron Man 1:2 has to be the most overpriced piece of all time, taking into account how cheaply manufactured it is:

Hopefully the new batchs are better made? :dunno

Overpriced maybe,

But its the best representation of this character with the best armor design!

So I guess if you already have Iron Man or T2 Endo, or have preordered Wolverine, you wouldn't want the Wolf Predator because it's out of scale with the others, right? I can't understand why they would put this predator in the same line as the other 1:2 figures.

not really, maybe like 2 guys bought the wolv lsf so noone cares lol.

but it's good news official announcement is coming in march, dhaval and his friend patel came through for us!
LOL! You changed my caste by saying Patel! Though its irrelevant, i would just like to share that Patel and Patil are two different castes or sects of the Hindu religion.

Maybe they make him bigger

I doubt it. Cuz SS usually don't alter/modify their products that radically! Although if thats the case, its most welcome :clap

Cheers,
Neo.

I've always thought the proportions looked a bit off with the 1:2 maquette. He looks too short and stout. Like they made the forearms too thick.

Besides, I like the mark vi armor better. Maybe I'm in the minority.:peace

man i must offend a lot of my guys on a daily basis :( we have many patil and patel at work, and i always get it mixed up. sorry

So SSC said on facebook that this would go up for preorder March 1st...I guess not?

I think they were actually talking about the Wolverine LSF for the March 1st date. If I recall correctly, they did say the Wolf would go on pre-order sometime this month though.

:lol I can only imagine that! Its ok BTW! :hi5:

Yup that's what they said! But if they delay and if its for the better of the final product/reveal, I don't mind it!

Cheers,
Neo.

It's a real shame this thing isn't in true 1:2 scale, it would be the best looking 1:2 figure yet. He'd be huge, with the added height of standing on top of a 1:2 scale alien. I'd pay 2k for that!

It's in a great pose that would be very difficult for the HT 1/6 Wolf figure to mimic. If so, it would definitely be at it's limits (read: almost reaching dislocation of a limb).

Also, because of the one-legged stance, any figure trying to duplicate the pose would need an additional support (for example, a waist clamp) to sustain the pose without falling.

In other words, great choice in pose and great choice in scale (this was confirmed to be a 1/4 predator). :yess:

It is confirmed 1/4 scale? That's freakin awesome! I hadn't read that anywhere.

I am SO GLAD this is NOT 1/2 scale and instead 1/4 scale same as the other PF statues. 1/4 is win!

In regards to the announcement date, the sideshow facebook messages stated very clearly it will be sometime in march, not march 1st but march. My guess is during the march madness event sideshow has planned. I dont understand why there is so much confusion around this.

Been waiting for this for a long time, i am excited.

But if it is 1/4 scale, the maximum price should be $1k, IMHO.

The Big Chap Alien Maquette is 1/4 scale and cost $800.

Wisest post ever :clap

Not really. The Wolf will have netting, leather loincloth, necklace, light up, 2 heads(?), weapons and about a third of an Alien on the base.
The last 1/4 Predator Maquette was 1k and that was 5 years ago. Be realistic on the price this should be.
