Sure you could buy that car for the same price but, which one do you think will be more valuable in 10 years? I'd put my money on the Wolf.
 
Sorry, but this stuff is worthless now. In ten years they would have re released it or there will be a newer more realistic version.

you are confusing this stuff with hot toys...

look at the first wave of sideshow statues from 4-5 years ago...sure kept their value then some...no?
 
The Mayan calendar may have stopped on December 20, 2012, but I just came back from Walmart and picked up a 2013 calendar. :yess:

Possible but, not likely. Originals always stay valuable if not appreciate even more. While we're comparing them to cars...They make new and improved Ferrari's but, the originals are still collectors items and very valuable. Same thing can be said with most popular collectibles.
 
That just means they found one from the old run in the warehouse. They don't reissue anything. Maybe a variant here and there but, no reissues. If they started doing that there would be a mutiny.
