I'm calling BS on the scale. there's no way this is 1:3 regardless of what they say.

it's definitely the same size as the P1 maquette.

we can always compare the specs betw the cinemaquette and this piece and tell if it is 1:3 or just claimed to be 1:3

As it has been already discussed before, it seems to be 1:3.5 IMO but they couldn't just slap this sorta number onto this piece so they decided to go with 1:3. Even if it is 1:3.5 the $2k price is not justified

@ Neo

I'm 90% sure this piece will measure the same as the P1 maquette in terms of size.

Let's wait a few more hours and see if that's true.

If its really 1:3 many people will pass on this.

I mean why make something that does not scale with the rest of the stautes?

The P1 already dwarfs the Predalien maquette.

If this were any bigger what do you display it with?

If it's true to 1:3, which it isn't, there are plenty of CM owners that would be interested in it. Don't forget, the Wolverine LSF is 31in, and this is still shorter then that, when the CM Pred is 32in, that's a pretty good indicator. The P1 is 24in, and the Predalien is 27in, so I'm not sure why your saying the P1 dwarfs it :dunno

The P1 and Predalien statues are both 22" without the base. Both are in bent / crouched poses so they would be about 23" if standing straight up. I expect this to be the same size.
Add up the 2.5 inch base, 3.5 inch Alien and a 22" Wolf for about a 29" statue which is what this looks like.

I don't know where you got the height of the Predalien from, but I measured both my P1 and Predalien before I posted out of curiosity and they are both 22" minus base which for the Predalien is about 2". I am still not convinced the Predalien was a true 1/4 scale piece I think it was a couple of inches too small.

SS always listed it at 27in, so that's where I got my info. Do you have the Pumpkinhead maquette? That one is 27in. Do you have any side by sides of the P1 and Predalien? I don't think I've seen a pic of those 2 together. Your right then, the Predalien is smaller then 1/4, cause it's supposed to be 27in like SS listed it as.

I tried looking there cos I figured that is where it was from but I kept getting the little green Predalien for some reason :dunno...I don't have Pumpkinhead, I'd love it cos I am a big Winston fan but never liked the movie enough at the time and now shipping to me in Australia makes it that much harder to get. The Predalien lacks the body mass and a bit of height but I still think it is a fantastic piece. I have it displayed between the CM Alien and Predator now if you want a pic of that.
Here is a couple of old pics.

Draw your own conclusions with these two pics guys (rolleyes)

Well the pic of the CM Pred and Iron Man is mine :lol The Pred would be 30" tall if he wasn't sunk into the mud and was in the same upright pose as the IM. That puts the CM at about an inch above the top of chest light standing upright.
Now the Wolf as is would probably stand an inch taller than the right gold thigh plate (20") and straightening out the stance would probably give it 4" extra height (a very generous 4") so a total of 24" tall.
Roughly 1/4 scale.

Thanks Joe :)
