Yeah mate. I watched this again last night and was amazed at how dark it was, too dark perhaps.

The lighting was perfect until they decided to darken the whole movie.:slap With a good TV it is possible to extract a lot more brightness from it.
 
I think most people turned them off during AVP: R ;) Great creature design though, he should have been saved for something better.
 
Yeah, turning your tv's brightness level up does help a lot.

He should have but it's happened now, it's best just to embrace his awesomeness. Wolf's Arrival (including extended scene) is one of my favourite Predator scenes in a Predator film (second only to P1 unmasking).

Oh wow....that would be awesome. I guess it would be "The Fall of Wolf" since he was a clean up man for some reason.

No, Rise of Wolf depicts how he has to deal with an Alien Queen killing his parents. The rest of the film shows why he was forced to a life of cleaning up alien scum.

[SPOILER3]In the climatic battle he kills the Queen and retires in his Pred mansion. Years later he gets the distress call from earth...[/SPOILER3]
 
and he mounts her skull on his wall when they are showing his Wolf mansion at the end.
