Given the 2k price tag and the amount they could potentially make from this guy, I don't think a box redesign, or even a statue redesign to separate a few problem areas would be a big deal for SS. I think it is quite possible we will see this piece again down the line.

I very much doubt that they will put this piece back in production...in fact, given that the 1:5 wolf is still available on the SS website tells me that it is going to be a very very very long time before they touch anything that has to do with wolf if they even do, unfortunately...SS is all about what makes them money, and it seems that the wolf LSF was more issues than dough.

Wolf wasn't the issue it was scale and pose.
The 1:5 line can't really be compared to the LSF or 1:1 bust.

I actually think the 1:5 Wolf is very nice.

What you're forgetting is that they've already lost so much money in sending out replacements/giving refunds that there just won't be any benefit for them to continue. Like I said, I don't see a factory of Wolf's sitting around and since they're realized the packaging is useless, that's all wasted money they spent. Creating new packaging or a re-design would cost them even more money to make and do, and the only logical step when that happens would be to pass that cost to us, which makes Wolf 2.0 go for what these already go for on the secondary market.

Plus, if you're going to go through the trouble of all that, you may as well just make a different Predator altogether. But, who knows?...It's just my educated guess from a business standpoint.

If they did re-release it they would need to make him in more parts so they could more safely ship them. I don't see it happening either. Super heavy piece with super detailed small delicate parts equals bad news.

You really get a sense of the size and scale of Ian there. He's the obvious choice to play a Predator on screen.

I would rather Sideshow just move on.

Well I agree, a P1 LSF is probably the piece I'd like to see most. But they already have the wolf done, they would just need to re box and not add netting so I wouldn't be surprised if he does turn up again at some point. Maybe this is why the LSF line aren't numbered ultimately. I think they should be for the price myself but...

Would not be hard to do both, the Wolf would be easy to bring back and more people would convert to LSF scale if we get a P1 and a Wolf with hopefully more to come.

I feel the same way. The interesting part is that I don't think it would take much. Maybe a some orange and brown spots (to make the crown a little darker) then some gloss. That's really it. I've thought about getting someone to fix up my wolf head as well. Hmmmmm......
