need your guys' advice.. should I go thru the return process? theres also white flaking at the base. Close to Wolverine's eye it looks like paint chipping. Overall great piece... although way too expensive IMO. If these busts were maybe $100 less then we'd be talking.

Looks kind of plain to me for a piece that size.

Yes, in hand I have to say it could have been more detailed. The back, top of head and neck area is very smooth...no definition at all except for a couple neck rolls on back of neck. And the teeth could have been better. But all in all I am very happy with mine.

Im not seeing any defects, can you point them out better? Is it light as a feather? Sideshow with their new super hollow busts. I agree all their busts are overpriced. I like some weight to them, like the Venom and Thing Busts.

I like it...It looks like one of those pieces from a mile away you know what it is...this will IMHO be a classic!...Grats to those that get this!...The photos so far show no defects...I understand there are flaws in some pieces if you put your face up to it but these are meant to be scene from a certain distance....several feet at least

I dunno what to do.... Ahhhh...
That thor looks so good, wolverine came out ok. but the price is killing me. Out of the 2 which one is better in your opinion?.. Yes i love both characters.

what did you do to the eyes? thats not permanent is it?

---

Sidenote it was $25 to ship to Calgary from Cali. Also great exchange rate, for once I actually paid less than the MSRP.

I wanted to see if I like it with the eyes whited out or not. Its not permanent yet ;) But maybe soon, still contemplating.

Tough call... I like both, but Thor is better. $25 shipping, USD was $649.99

I paid $667 Canadian all together (shipping / exchange rate etc). So its a little bit less after exchange rate... but I guess you have to take into account tax as well. But only 5%.

If you take out the pupils you take away the realism and honestly who cares how he's drawn in the comics. Not every artist illustrates Wolverine without his pupils. It's just cheapens the effect and looks stupid. This piece is perfect as is and is one of the more realistic looking busts out there with the gloss on the eyes, lips and tongue. Also, the white eyes look stupid and take away from the expression of his face. Those pupils add to the fierce factor. But hey, that's just me. My friend agrees.

:exactly: Life size busts are meant to look realistic, by making the eyes white it would just defeat the purpose
