Well for me I ordered it anyway since this will be my first wolverine. Just wondering isn't premium format suppose to have fabric? What makes it premium format?

The statue bothers me on so many different levels. The jaws looks weird, hes slim and not stocky, the arms are hairless?! really?! Is this a anime wolverine?

Everything looks pretty good except for his mouth. They really should offer a closed mouth scowl as an alternative. SDCC will reveal if I take the plunge or not.
I agree...right now, heads from the original PF are far superior. I do like the full sculpt, pose, etc...
I get they are trying to go for Miller cover image but it doesn't work. Masked HS is not bad but what is with the leather of on the tunic and forearm parts of his uniform? Its like they painted over a hairy bare-chested Wolverine piece and thought we wouldn't notice. Odd too, as the rest of the leather looks like how you would expect. Its an easy no for me in this new age of SS PFs that cost over half a grand shipped. Where it seems the PFs are now a rich man's hobby, a piece has to be perfect to get a PO with NRD from me. It seems like this might be becoming the case for others too, as exclusives for Spider-Man and Arkham Joker & Batman are still not sold out.

I dunno. I really like how this turned out! I like the stylized interpretation of Frank Miller's art from the portraits. The brown costume is my favourite look. It's just the price that is giving me pause. Plus the XM brown version will be a long wait. Obtaining one may be impossible w/o connections or due to the Marvel licence expiring.

Like it overall... Head sculpt is growing on me... Like most I was like WTH?? But I like more the more I look at it... It's a tad to feline perhaps? But I think they were going for an animalistic look. Been wanting a Wolverine. Been wanting a brown suit wolverine... Love the Pose. So I will PO this later tonight when I get home from work.

The craziest thing is definitely the price. $10 more than Spidey, who was already thought to be the "new baseline" a month and a bit ago.
Love the base and the outfit texture, but the unmasked sculpt definitely leaves something to be desired. Even if it's a Frank Miller based sculpt, the expression chosen was poor. The growl works okay for the masked sculpt...it just doesn't fit at all with the unmasked one, and I think it ruins it as a whole.
He looks more like an old man wheezing and trying to catch his breath. For the unmasked sculpt they should've gone with a more sly, "C'mon Bub," type look from the comic cover that was done for that character over simply taking the mask off the exact same sculpt.

Sideshow better do an astonishing Wolverine with a different head and base, they do so many variants these days but that's the one I've been waiting for, it would fit in with the modern era characters they've been doing lately like the Thor with armored sleeves, red Hulk, etc.
