Now SS has the brown wolverine out. XM can make theirs too. Best of both world to choose. Not diggin the SS version though. Doesn't have the wow effect somehow

Me too. Due to there being two statues of wolverine in the original photo/leak (one brown and one unpainted), I'm really expecting a classic blue variant. And being a 90's kid. I'd have to take blue and yellow.

I will be patient as well! Hopefully it happens.

Hopefully it's a brand new comic face sculpt and not based off real people which is a gamble in my opinion. So glad BG seem luckily went to the good side on the face.

I see the lip. It doesn't bug me. I can make that snarl... And I'm not a rabid man name wolverine.

The lip doesn't bug me on the masked portrait but it does on the maskless portrait.

Overall I like what I see and that's all that matters.

I am borderline preordering this... Loved the masked head till the lip was pointed out- even so, its better than the frowny face on their legendary scale imo but still hard to "un-notice". Smooth arms aren't good. The texture on his outfit is ok but something seems odd about it. Pose and base are awesome.

Brown Wolverine is the outfit I remember as a kid. Don't know when there will be another... I'll hold off for the time being but may end up pulling the trigger anyway.

I ordered. Portraits look fine to me. My only gripes are no hair on the arms, non-metal accessories and the silver pedestal base. Why can't they just make the base continuous? Other than those things I think it's a win.

Psyched to see this. I don't have a Wolvie statue and he looks great but after the Apocalypse debacle I'm hesitant to order statues again.

Wow not digging those sculpts at all. Love the statue and base but those sculpts are awful imo.

Yes, face ruins the statue (IMO).

I can't get past the upper lip and over sized chin. I love brown costume wolverine so this is a MAJOR let down.

I like the headsculpt. It's got character. I already got the XM and koto wolves so this gives me some variety.

to tell the truth, the lip tuckunder is bothering me less and less. I do like the overall snarl/hiss look in general and the more I look at pics of animals they all tend to tuck their upper lip and push their teeth/gums out.






just not sure how to feel about the suit texture. Almost looks hairy against his hairless arms...

Absolutely love everything about this sculpt except for the head, it looks as if he's in pain/screaming in agony.

It does look like he's just stubbed his toe on something, not exactly the battle face you'd expect when he's about to tear it up with Sabretooth, hopefully Sideshow take notice and change the face as its getting a lot of flack over on statue forum as well.

Couldn't agree more about the snarl. That's what I said and thought when I first saw it.
