I would have to buy if they made the Grant Morrison era all black leather costume (similar to the X3 look)

After much thought, I will be adding some details to the arms and veins on him, I may also improve the base
Otherwise, this statue has renewed my love of collecting
Great stuff guys, keep on posting new pics

Congrats RB looks amazing would love to see him next to IM but the Doom shot gives a good idea of the shear mass of this behemoth lol!
The long wait begins now not sure when mothers basement will get mine in but got hawkeye on the way in the meantime with cap to follow shortly.

Here is my video guys...

As the day comes to an end it's been an eventful one. All the excitement waiting for the arrival of Wolverine, the unboxing, the putting together and now the enjoyment of seeing it displayed. It's a fantastic Wolverine piece that will never be surpassed in my opinion...the definitive Wolverine collectible

Lol what are you writing a book? Predator theme music?!?! Too funny!

These pics are very awesome I like the step by step pics. Have to agree the stand looks awesome

Thanks Ant! Thought i'd give you an idea of the assembly part of the statue. Yea, the stand is cool with the rotating base but is only temporary as i will packing the Wolverine back into his box after Saturday :(

:clap
Congrats once again

Thanks Optimus :clap

Great vid And's really appreciate your time.. I'm going to love making the 2nd head fort his...Can't wait to get mine in June! Enjoy your new purchase! How is the body done on this figure...??? Is it thick or very light?

Thanks Ads :hi5: no worries, it was a pleasure unboxing this and taking te pics and video. Was grateful to be the second guy who recieved theirs on the forum so wanted to share with you all the awesomness of this piece. The base is extremely heavy, then the torso and the legs all combine to make it a very weighty piece indeed. In fact i had to transprt it in my hands from one place to another when it was completely built and it weighed a ton, almost like 3 Hulk PF's put together!!!:horror Like i mentioned earlier, the Fedex delivery guy said it was too heavy to lift so had to bring it in with his trolley! :rotfl

The base will definately get some customising from me. As mentioned previously, i will be adding more colour to the green foliage and lastly add a few coats of laquer to the base to recreate a wet muddy terrain. I have already started to customise the shoulder guards as the battle damage around the edgings look awful to me (definately not as good as the proto)

aww come on guys, don't post pics anymore
I still haven't 2000 bucks to spend yet

Sorry dude :lol you should start saving cos this is a must have :lecture

Many thanks Brett...feel really priviledged to be one of the first guys to get this in the UK. I dont know how i would cope if i had to wait another month or so to get it...i'm the worlds most impatient guy :lol Trust me, i'd have loved to put this guy next to my Iron Man LSF but unfortunately Iron Man is safely stored away in his shipper and is also surrounded by layers of boxes so it would take forever to get him out let alone taking him out of the box! I'll leave that job to you! I think the two together will look super sweeeeeeet!!! :yess:

Lol what are you writing a book? Predator theme music?!?! Too funny!

:rotfl:rotfl it was a day of emotion BobaNerd, it did feel like i was writing my memoirs :lol Yea, funnily enough the Predator theme tune was the only decent soundtrack i had on my iphone 5 that i could have used. It was either that or Frank Sinatra's 'I did it my way!' :( Anyway, Wolverine has predetory instincts so i guess in the end it all balances out...:yess:

Had no idea this even released.

It looks AMAZING. Big congrats to those who've got him.

Sadly i have neither the funds nor the space for this.

Thanks dude :clap He is great and very big! If i could offer anyone some good advice in regards to LSF's it would be to be very wary. Cos once you have your first one, you find that it eclipses everything you have in your entire collection and you will want to buy another one...and another...:(

This is my second and i've already saved $1800 to go towards the Doom LSF :slap:panic:

Some late night pics I took before calling it a day...

Those of you that are recieving theirs in the next day or so will be in for a treat!!! He is awesome!!'

congratulations for the part, looks amazing, I just personally dont buy for various reasons

-the other 2 heads that didnt bring

-the triceps

-shoulder pads (look at that painting any chipped repetitive)

-the face, the expression of the mouth

-but above the high price, if I lived in USA would use $ 2000 + shipping to get, here in europe are $ 2000 + shipping + customs and you get in around $ 3,000,hard pain

Thanks Electro :hi5: have to agree with you pal on most of your points. It was a shame that they didnt include the extra heads...not too fussed about the musculature of the arm, yes its been exaggerated but its a comic concept Wolverine so it needs to have the huge arms and bulging veins imo. The expression of the mouth is okay...its not amazing but im happy with the paint app. They could have gone for the open mouth but i didnt like that on the PF so am happy they went for this face in the end.

Above all, yes...the Wolverine is well overpriced at 2K but i dont think you'll get it cheaper anywhere else, infact it may even increase slightly on the secondary market so who knows. I had to get it cos i love Wolverine and haev been waiting for a definative collectible of him after selling the PF which i didnt like at all. Bit like the Vader PF, i sold mine and am waiting for either a new Vader PF or an LSF!!!

As for the shoulder pads, yes the SSC paint app is horrendous which is why I have already started the process of customising it. Early signs are promising...have to add a few more coats of blue followed by some of my own battle damage!!

congrats again Roberto its an amazign piece,, :duff :clap

are you going to get doom lsf too?

Thanks amico :1-1: Yes! Absolutely! I have high hopes for the Doom LSF. It will also be the last piece i order from Sideshow for the forseeable future. Unless i decide to sell off various pieces of my collection to create funds then i cant see any way i can afford to keep buying new stuff. Its a shame yes but i think its a perfect time to stop. I have so many beautiful pieces in my collection and ones which i will never sell so they will keep me happy and my children happy i think...:peace

Man, I'm thinking of selling a part of my collection to get this.

Looks like a whole new level of statue collecting

I'd say wait Spidey. Dont jump into LSF's just yet...firstly you need to think about things like space and also would you be happy with selling some of your collection? LSF's are addictive. I have 2 and already i want the Doom LSF to get put up on the SSC website :lol Have a think about it and decide if your current collection means something to you before you sell it. The Wolverine LSF is a great piece no doubt, so good that if it was the only piece i had in my collection then i'd still be over the moon. The downside of the Wolverine LSF is that it is 100% over priced and i think thats what has put most collectors off this piece...:(
