Im sorry to hear this, I will go check my head magnet and report back. So far I have had zero issues. Magnet issues always scare me, since they may never come up till some time later
Hope SS takes care of you soon

Damn! :slap Im gonna have to check mine now....that or build him his very own neck brace!!

On a serious note, was it the magnet in the head or the magnet in the neck area? I just want to put him back in the box :(

Yes I can see what you did! Good job! I may do the same with mine this summer. Although I will have painters do it, you are very brave ;)
As you know I will touch up the veins too, I think it will look a bit more realistic looking

Many thanks Alex :hi5: It really had to be done dude, the paint app by SSC was terrible around the edges of the shoulder guard. Good luck with your customising...that is unless the head hasnt fallen off by then :slap:horror :lol

You do that, for safety I just put some small amount of putty to secure it for safe keeping. I have mine on display now for a few days and nothing yet

Okay guys spent about half an hour trying to improve that horrid paint application of the shoulder guards... I think you'll agree that there is a vast improvement...

The top is the SSC paint application and the bottom is my customising.

Still not finished yet but will continue tomorrow followed by work on the base.

Here are some more pics

Looks a 100x better, my friend! Great job!

I'm really striking out with these Legendary Scale Figures. I received my Wolverine yesterday and his right arm has a small chip on it. Wasn't really a big deal, called SS, asked for a replacement arm and that was that. However, last night the head fell out of the statue, lands on the hardwood floor and the chin shatters into a million pieces. Scared the crap out of me since it happened out of nowhere. Turns out the magnet inside the upper body came unglued causing the head to come falling out. The magnet holding the head in place is a very slim piece and it's still attached to the bottom of the broken head. All 3 of my LSF's have had problems now and I really can't believe the quality control on these. It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm really getting sick of the hassle that comes with returning this stuff. Mainly because it takes a month or more just to get the ball rolling with SS returns these days, and receive an unbroken statue. Even more frustrating is the fact that I shouldn't have to go through this process since I paid $2,000 for this and shouldn't have to worry about quality control issues.

That is bizarre. I would be so ticked off at that. You're right, at 2K per piece, you should't have to worry about things like that happening.

The issues with all LSF's thus far (Maul, Pred, now this), even though some have been minor, scare me out of ordering the Doom LSF.

Your paint application looks 1000x better on the shoulder pads. Sideshow's take on them look's horrendously bad. I can not believe someone could make battle damage that looks so un-natural. Never tried to paint anything but Id imagine with the right tools and my amateur art talent, I could have done a far better job with realistic battle damage. SMDH.

Many thanks Wolfie! :hi5: I think you'd agree that it needed changing!!:exactly:

Is that the Troy who did that awesome Wolverine custom where he's on a tree with Sabretooth's head?

What's wrong with the base Andy?

Oh, nothings wrong per SE, just that I wanted to add my own touches to it. Gonna add more colour to the green foliage aswell as create a wet looking terrain by spraying a few layers of lacquer over certain parts...maybe add a puddle or two...:lol
