I could see a Vader being slightly higher when they eventually do it cause of all the electronics, but if it isn't more accurate then the CM, it will be hard to top that one with all the cool goodies that one comes with.

doom has a lot of sculpting involved :dunno

It'll be basically a full sculpted LSF since only his torso would be under cloth.

With a removeable helmet, I couldsee that selling pretty well.

last time I checked, this was a forum where ppl can express their opinions. Has nothing to do with who can and can't afford this. None of these open ES pieces are worth 2k and never will be. The 1:2 IM and Term Endo sell for less then 1500 on the aftermarket. Stop being an ass just cause ppl don't agree with the price.

Yes maybe leo is a little too abrasive, but I dont care if they are worth $1500 or $500 less aftermarket 2 1/2 years later. I had my IM the very first day, that was like 2 1/2 years ago! Not everything has to be an investment as many of us would agree. I am not in this hobby to invest but to enjoy them.

Anyways coming here and expressing what you think is your right.

Do these not have closed editions? If it's an open edition then the price is too high imo. Part of the price should be because of the edition size and how limited it is. This is definitely one of those type of collectibles for the select few and not the hordes...

How many do you think they will sell?
Honestly do you think they will sell more of these than the PF EX and PF Reg combined? I dont think so.

The run of these statues is still limited its not forever....

I already own this statue. It is a quarter the size and a quarter the price. I believe they call it the wolverine premium format. $2K, please child$$$$$

Why would anyone think this was going to be any other price besides $2k? Sideshow had already set the precedent for this line with the Darth Maul figure and everything else in this line will be $2k or more.

I love my Premium Format. Thanks. With that money I'll buy Joker PF EX, Dutch PF, Batman PF EX, Stormrooper PF ( I don't have it yet), and 2 mores. :). Thanks. continue making PF :)

Amazing, but not $2000 amazing, oh well
This is how I feel; it is a great statue that would be the centerpiece of a collection, but it is not $2k amazing. The only statues out there that I could drop that amount on would be a Cinemaquette Predator or 1/2 Darth Vader. I would buy a Sideshow Legendary Scale Boba Fett for $2k if it was in an action pose.

I'm with you, Cinemaquette Predator is the only :gah: I want it.

Legendary scale look like midgets to me. It's the only thing holding me back on the 1/2 endoskeleton.

Covered by robe? It's not like you will be able to take his robe off to see what the sculpt is? :dunno

He wears a tunic so his lower half is basically exposed, he doesn't have sleeves & his head wouldn't be sculpted on. Like I mentioned before, only his upper torso would be covered & it won't be by a form fitting cloth.

I won't be buying any LSF as an investment for sure. It might go up a little or down some, but not by much. That's why I have to be sure I like it at least enough. Congrats on those who will purchase one. Me waiting for Hulk/Bat LSF. :impatient:
