There isnt any new stuff. Someone elsewhere did a comparison...and aside from some sound changes, and editing....it's the same. (obviously with finished effects/music, ect...

Well, I'm back so here goes
I enjoyed it for what it was, mindless fun. I did not watch the work print but I have to say that the soundtrack is very good and definitely sets the mood. I couldn't imagine the Matrix, Dark Knight, Jaws or Star Wars without a soundtrack because it's so integral to most movies. That being said all the films I have mentioned have a better story.
The fights are enjoyable and the movie even has moments of comedy , but it seems to rush too much through in less than two hours that some Characters are one dimensional. Which brings me to Deadpool. Fans will be pissed at his treatment but the fight with him at the end is still exciting. Cgi goes from very good to very bad. The film does have some powerful moments, one in particular is the scene with an old couple who help Logan.
Overall it's better than Xmen 3 but it's no Iron Man. I would put it on par with last years Incredible Hulk. Just switch your brains off, go watch and enjoy.
7 out of 10
Oh, the ending I saw after the credits was
Logan drinking in a Japanese bar talking to a barmaid in Japanese saying that he was drinking not to forget but to remember.
Sadly It's no Stark or Nick Fury ending

I saw the film, it was pretty 'meh'...

I liked the montage of all the wars though, best bit of the film IMO...

And we all know that the internetz sites are what we should judge a movie by.

I foresee many more reviews just like dino's on this board.

seen the flick last night here in Australia!!
Was an awesome movie, heaps of action.I havent seen the workprint so i dont know anything that would have been added differently other than the CG work...
I wont post spoilers for now...but ........for those that would like to know...SPOILERS

Would you say you liked it more or less than X3?

Just curious... Myself i liked both movies but they were forgettable.

Krayt Dragon:Id say pretty much on par with X3...Im a SW fan through and through, and it is the ONLY franchise for me.
Having said that,i totally liked Wolverine as a stand alone movie and comparing with X3 are very similiar..too many cameos, not enough exploration and character building BUT a great action flick nonetheless.THIS is not Dark Knight with ALL its complexities, nor Iron Man with all its coolness, but i found it a great movie and will definately buy it on BD when it hits!!

and god was that Kayla chick hot or what!!!!

movie was weak but these foam claws :rock
my son and i beat the crap out of each other all afternoon :lol

I really like Jackman's Wolverine but I'm gonna try and stay outta this one. It looks like one name-drop after another and if it looks that way already it's likely what it is. The previous three were the same way. You just can't squeeze a team movie into 2 or so hours. Everyone ends up running around vying for character developement while there's still a story to be told and whimsical action sequences to be thrown in.

They should've just revamped the franchise with this movie. There's no way good way they can fit it into the stellar Marvel film-verse Iron Man started.

This film was pretty poor. Some good action scenes but the story was rubbish

Wow. I'd hate to see a 4, 5 or even 6 then. :google

It's just my opinion. We both like Watchmen, but there are people out there that would give that movie a 4 or even a 1 out of 10.

I went in there with low expectations and I did not expect to see a film in the same class as Singer's X-Men movies.
If I watched it without a score and wires showing, I would have probably marked it down a couple of points

The story was a 5 out of 10, the action was a 9, so I went somewhere in between.

Just saw the film last night at the theater I work at. UGHHHHH. Horrible, unforgivable, insulting are words I would use to describe this movie. Do they not get the character of Wolverine? I never got the feeling he was an "Animal", I was half expecting him to help elderly people across the street. And the whole Weapon X sequence? Reduced to 10 minutes. It works so much better that he was having Adamantium grafted on his bones, trapped for weeks, in unimaginable pain and can't die! It makes you feel for him despite his actions.
I could go on but it comes down to this film insults people who've loved this character for 40 years. It was stupid and lazy. The only good thing was Ryan Reynolds for the 15 minutes he's allowed to be Deadpool.

So....7 out of 10?

XMO: Wolverine vs the swine flu. Which one is worse? Will the swine flu and pre-release drive down opening day numbers? How will Fox respond? How will dismal sales in lui of the current climate impact other XMO movies?

The drama, I love it :D
