I told my wife last night I would have shot her. As far as I'm concerned she is a hostile intruder.
 
With a 1-year old involved, I wouldn't think of this as unreasonable.

This was reported far differently last night. Last night they made it seem like these two had no connection and the woman came home to just find this person living there. The link Ween posted buts a slight twist on it. It sounds like the woman didn't follow procedures before she left. :dunno
 
The article says the woman had a lease or rental agreement in the past. If the court refuses to evict then perhaps the termination of that agreement is in dispute.

Just grasping at straws, the situation seems pretty f-ked up.

This woman has not done anything violent, even if she is legally and morally in the wrong. Shooting her would be murder and the fact your mind immediately goes there shows how morally and psychologically unfit you are to own a firearm.
 
I would think the court would decide who could live there till it's sorted out. It's all so confusing!
