After watching films like Fury and Saving Private Ryan, I really don't buy Cap's apple pie "Language!" persona.
Closest he came was when he told the team to walk off getting killed in AoU.
Not sure making Hitler a theatrical super-villain would play today. Maybe ask Jojo Rabbit how their Hitler was received?

Maybe, but Hitler is iconic and a better villain than most actual comic villains. Not to mention, Superman being the creation of two Jews feels almost poetic to have him defeat Hitler and his super weapon in a fantasy story.
But who knows, it could be a turn off for some people. I wish they had gone full Nazi with Red Skull for the iconography and costume alone.
