Kristen Bell could be labeled the first for Frozen, but that was voice work. Didn't even know she was in that. Awww I <3 her.
Sandra Bullock has also crossed it with Minions, but again voice work.

Live action it appears to go to...........uggg Debbie Downer Felicity Jones for Morgue One. No wait, appears the first female would be Mia Wasikowska in 2010's Alice In Wonderland.

Sorry Gadot. You too skinny and ain't going to be the first woman to cross a billion monies.

Though Milla Jovovich should get special consideration for leading her Resident Evil series to over a billion.

Depp got top billing for Alice in Wonderland. Guess that makes Felicity the first female to headline a live-action billion dollar picture. Beauty and the Beast has since outgrossed it (Watson top billing) but Felicity will always be the first. If Ridley gets top billing for TLJ then I'm guessing that her film will crush the previous two.

There won't be any shame in WW falling short of that number though. No DCEU film has passed that threshold so I don't see why anyone would expect WW to do so.

I never cared for beauty and the beast but my roomate didnt want to go alone and i was being company

But i was amazed at how beautiful the movie was. I was amazed at the beast effects, he looked awesome.
And i was surprised at the sets. Everything was so detailed and nice

I'm telling you.... with all the whining from sooooo many people about Strong female protagonist and female superhero movies and this turns out to underpreform I want all those people to shut up. Just proved they wanted to whine about something and aren't interested in strong female characters. I mean it could still suck but it still better be a hit on opening day.

Wonderwoman is the queen of comic book woman...if tumblr lets this fail.....wow.
