The 2nd and 4th ones are nice.
The rest was painful to read. Ugh...

I think I'm missing the "that's cute" gene when it comes to stories about what kids do and say because all that did was make me throw up in my mouth a little.
No, it's fine. There's nothing cute about spoiled childhood and bad parenting.

This movie made TFA look Oscar worthy.
That's a bit too harsh... but I'm glad you understand that TFA is a better film. :duff

:lol :lol

This was really really bad. To be honest I saw a lot of people comparing it to TFA, and I think everyone here knows I find that movie to be mediocre, but this movie made TFA look Oscar worthy. The first half of TFA I enjoyed, but the second half I found terrible and rushed. A lot of potentially great stuff got rushed because they had to get Cap back to present day for that Avengers movie.

It's good to be back :duff

Thanks man :duff

Why are u so sexist bro? Why do u hate women bro,

I love women in my movies, but mostly as damsels in distress :lol

My main problem with most heroines these days like Wonder Woman, Black Widow, Rey etc... is that they're just plain boring, and they really don't sell the action. Ripely, Furiosa, Sarah Connor were characters that weren't infallible, and had talented enough actresses in great shape that could really sell the action. Plus the action they had to sell was believable.

Same here.

Then again, I find baby Groot to be bland af too.

I thought this was only slightly better than TFA, because some of the obvious Snyder story bits gave the story some weight.

Grown woman crying while watching Rogue One > made up stories about "cute" kids re-enacting Wonder Woman. :monkey3

Rogue One almost made me cry too--though that was mainly because I was upset I spent money to see it in the theater--so I'm going to call it a draw.

I think there were just too many character inconsistencies within the story. Then scenes like aunt dying and 2 seconds later she's just fine.

There's a reason why WB had planned on having the embargo lift a day before release. It wasn't until early reactions they pushed it up a week. I said it a long time ago, there was just no way this movie was going to get bad reviews, what scares me though is just how good the reviews have been. I expected this to be like a 70 something on RT, but a 93%? That's just insane.

Right now my DCEU ranks like this:

MOS
BvS

Wonder Woman

Suicide Squad

I also predicted a 70% :lol yeah those reviews are retarded.

I wouldn't call those character inconsistencies, just bad acting, Gadot ranged from decent to bad.

My ranking is similar, only switching MoS and BvS.

The average rating on RT is a 7.8. Just because 93% of critics recommend it doesn't mean they're all saying it's the best movie ever made.

I understand that RT just compiles reviews, but for the most part, if you just look at the percentages of the best superhero movies, they're pretty indicative of the quality of the movie. TDK, Spider-Man 2, Iron Man etc.. are all in the high 90s, no way do I believe a majority of viewers honestly thought Wonder Woman was a good movie. Take that same movie, call it Wonder Man, and most of the male roles to women and the women roles to men and we would have had a rotten film.

Even WB was not confident in the movie.

Well, the inconsistencies I found was in Wonder Woman killing men left and right with no issue even though she seemed pretty anti violence.

I cringed hard though when Steve coincidently "died" like Steve Rogers and all of a sudden Ares was no match. Truly truly awful movie in my opinion. So many tropes from superhero movies decades ago made it in that movie.

Right because if The Dark Knight was called "Bat Woman" and Bale and Ledger's parts were played by women then that movie would have totally been just as awesome as the current version. :cuckoo: :lol

That's not an inconsistency, she's a warrior, she doesn't kill for sport or for the sake of it, she kills when it's needed, she's not anti-violence.

I cringed hard though when Steve ironically "died" like Steve Rogers and all of a sudden Ares was no match. Truly truly awful movie in my opinion. So many tropes from superhero movies decades ago made it in that movie.
Yep, that Super Saiyajin scene was pretty cringe.

Sure as hell would've gotten a 120%

Nolan never had any idea what to do with his female characters, nor how to cast them, nor how to get a good performance out of them.

He is totally inept with females.

*Snyder asks quickly: How much does he bench?*
