Well so far there have only been three $200 million openings in history so I'd say that that will still be an extremely rare occurrence until inflation kicks in to such a degree that it becomes inevitable. Really only IW probably has a chance of hitting that at this point and even that is iffy due to MCU burnout. SW will never again have that "first time seeing Luke, Leia, and Han on the big screen since the OT!" moment so I don't think we'll see such a weekend occurring in the Saga ever again.

I think that Infinity War will break the $200 million opening weekend. If not, it should easily get over $1 billion globally.

It's a weird dichotomy there. I don't think anyone credits Trevorrow for being the reason that Jurassic World performed so well at the box office ... but you can damn sure believe that if Episode IX falters at all, most will point to him.
