Yeah, I used a couple thousand points on the Batman PF , but I still lost 300 points for the remaining balance. It's best to save them until you can pay for something in full. Unfortunately, that is easier said than done.

Yep, I'm still eyeing Jack The Ripper, I can take him down to about half Price now or wait a few months and get him for about $80...I'm trying to hold out. Not going so well though.

I went back to the first post in this thread and saw that SS originally said to expect Wonder Woman's debuts in late 2012. I'd say they missed their mark by a month or two

I think he meant he didn't gain any points, not that he had points taken away. You can't use points and gain points on the same purchase.

That's impossible! If there's one thing Sideshow doesn't do it's miscalculate an expected release date.

On Statue Forum SS Alex said in the Ask Sideshow Section that she'll be pre-ordering in the first 6-8 months. Let's hope that's in the first 1/8 of that

Yeah she definitely will be. Just hope we can preorder before then though. Would be nice. Flex that sexy lady and be good that I got my fix and that my Ex is secure lol

How did you lose points?

Even though I still spent $300 without tax and shipping on the statue I won't get the 300 points because I put my other points towards the order. I guess I just kind of feel like I got jipped out of $300 points. If I saved up enough points to pay for the whole statue I wouldn't feel like I was lossing any points.

Because when you use you points on an item you can't gain any from it. I guess my logic is a little flawed because if I saved up enough points to pay for the whole statue I still wouldn't have got points. I think I just don't feel like I'm getting jipped out of points when I'm using points instead of money to purchase an item.

you just need to make sure the points you use is more than what you would gain from a purchase. so if you are saving $40 on an item that would give you $15 in points, you're not really losing money or value for points. at least, that's how I see it.

Yeah, if I minus the $15 I missed out on in points I still saved $85. Plus, they gave us a bunch of points over the holidays.

Reward points rule and of course they are a nice gift from whatever retailer decides to offer them. I'm saving mine up and I'm gonna drop em on something BIG one day. Maybe dat Joker bust?

Yea Im saving mine up for a while too. I used to just use them up quickly but I kinda want to save so that I get at least half off a PF.

Yeah that's a cool way to do it, especially of you're planing on getting quite a few more pieces over the next few years.

I have over $150 in reward points saved up. My biggest problem is I have been so conditioned from past SS pre-orders that I try to place my order as fast as I can so I don't miss out and I always forget to use them during the check out.

Ah, the good old days of an item selling out in the first five minutes, you don't see that any more
