The reason we did not accept full payment at the time of Pre-Order was due to laws in California preventing it. Since the 'goods'..in this case a Statue or figure wouldn't be delivered (most of the time) within 30 to 40 days of payment. Perhaps those laws have changed but I've never heard any rumblings that they have.

Well that's a bummer. Understandable but still a bummer, like Zod said I may not use it all the time but I'd still like to have it as an option.

Being new to SS statues and all, how does the shipping work? Do they ship all of the EX first? With larger production runs like the regular on this, do they ship them out in batches?

EX typically ships first. Has happened the other way around before but much less common. Yes, EX & Reg may be shipped in batches due to large ES.

I think what ssalex said was that if the first batch can cover all the flexpay then they would ship those out first or vice versa...if not then they would go by order number ...

why can't Sideshow just get a couple of pics of the production process. its so fast and easy and would really be appreciated. It's so odd to wait years and hope to catch one glimpse of one statue at a comic con, then nothing until it shows up at the door. Something so easy would go a long way to bridging the gap between PO and receiving, and also making the endless delays not so bad. I haven't, and won't order an XM statue (can't afford them), but I find myself spending 80% of my time in those threads like a creepy stalker because there are actually updates and fresh pictures.

Even PCS does glimpse shot. Dhalsim, Goro, rows of them after painted, etc.... That would make us collectors more in the loop

I think it's easier for smaller companies to go ahead and do glimpse shots. Who knows, it might be a legal thing.
