You have got to be kidding me! White Lantern Sinestro as a Con exclusive!?! Black Lantern Hal I can understand, but SINESTRO! And at dinky Wonder Con! Aaarggh!

White Lantern Sinesto is a big part of the event so making him a WonderCon exclusive would be like Sideshow making an Empire Boba Fett a C5 exclusive with a 1,000 edition size. EPIC FAIL!

I'll be hitting up WonderCon, but only on Saturday and braving the fanboy funk for that line BS would eat up a good chunk of the day. Basically, wait in line for a chance to wait in line. If your first chance fails, wait in line for another chance to wait in line. Then, if you manage to pull a rabbit out of Bullwinkle's ass, when the time comes, go wait in line for your figure. They did the same BS with Lee a couple of years ago and with Hamill last year and it really leaves you missing a fat chunk of the good panels, autographs, etc.
Companies would do good to learn from what Sideshow does at SDCC. Preorder online, bring your receipt to the table, they verify and pass you your toy. Done and done. No horrible waiting and nothing you wanna see missed.

Yeah, Sideshow has Con exclusives down. Too bad these bozos don't. But if by whatever miracle you can just stroll right up and snag one, keep me in mind

If that was at all possible, I wouldn't hesitate. Unfortunately, it'll require diving into a pit of butt and pit stink for about an hour for the slim opportunity to stand in line with the stenches for another 3 hours waiting for the figures.
The way I always judge an exclusive from a con I'm not attending is by adding attendance to the price of the figure. If that's the going price on ebaY, I'll snap one up. But yeah, if they're just passing them out at the end of the day, I'll pick up a couple for ya.

Seeing them is news. Knowledge of them isn't because it was unofficially known since January and officially announced first week of March.
Damn it another raffle which means my contact in SF probably won't be able to get them since he is attending but I'm sure not willing to stand in lines to get them. Which means eBay....

Looking at my infractions, I'd say no.
But there's always the alternative. Fly down, and spend the evening in the Moscone South garage, waiting to accost one of the 300lb geeks who picked up the pair.

I'll probably try my luck with ebay. I just find it odd they'd make such an important think like WL Sinestro a tiny-con exclusive. SDCC would have been more logical if they were going to make it a con item all along. But Wonder-Con?

Good luck, first seller is auctioning off "pre-orders" for $100 each. I want these but not that ____ing bad.
Actually that'd be completely illogical. Blackest Night was still kicking off by July of 2009, at the time Geoff Johns was still denying that there'd even be a White Lantern. They weren't going to let it out of the bag that Hal becomes a BL or Sinestro becomes the WL which was the real shocker that early. By July 2010, Brightest Day will be in full swing and from what I've read in spoilers there is plenty of exclusive fodder plus it'll be current. If Sinestro was to be an exclusive it'd make sense to do it at WonderCon since Graphitti Designs is a California company and they'd be attending anyway.

Nothing. Its gotten progressively better, I remember going to the first one which was lame but its still not at SDCC status...
Mattel has already said that they will not copy DCD figures directly that some figures will have overlays and overlaps but that they won't be following current events. A White Lantern Sinestro won't make sense in a few months nor will any Black Lanterns.
I'm leaning towards if ever....but you never know Matty might offer them as site exclusives...

QFT! Ugh. I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the SDCC multi-colored Hal's last year's SDCC. I was so pissed. I'm glad I'm done with action figures so I don't have to sweat this. Best of luck to my fellow freaks though!
