Gawd. Hope that's not carrying something of mine
People fighting for fair wages is more important than my toy statue.

Here is an article detailing the wages for a longshoreman: The Average Wage for a Longshoreman | Chron.com
A quote from the article: "The paper reports that experienced union members can make from $100,000 to $120,000 a year in combined salary and benefits."
Pardon me if I feel more concerned for my "toy statues" than their "fair" wages.

Did some here really think that picture of the stricken ship was causing the issue at the port?
Oh goodie, I was looking for political opinions from doll collectors.
Unions (both public and private) need to be abolished. I've been in 3 different unions in my lifetime, and all they do is take your money. They don't REALLY give a **** about you as a person or an employee, all they care about are the dues you pay in, that's why the force companies to hire 6 times as many employees as necessary, and you can't get rid of the useless ones. Not to mention they have WAY too much say in politics, and get socialist scumbags elected in this country (... Cough, the White House... cough). I hope every one of these a-holes loses their job. There are good, hard-working people, currently unemployed, who'd be happy to have their job.
