I ordered the one with the shane walsh head tonight, I'm gunna just bash a shane with it, Looks pretty good and reviews have been pretty good so why not.

I got one of these and the body has a much more noticeable shine than the HT one. I'm going to try and put some dullcote on it to matte it down, but wonder if there are any problems with it reacting to the plastic. Has anyone else tried matting down the body yet?

Yup. I sprayed mine with Purity Seal and it does the job fine. The plastic also responds well to acrylic brush cleaner if you make a boo-boo with your acrylic washes (like I did). Seems to be more resilient than it first looked.

Getting mine this week for my Shane custom, looking forward to it after all the good things I've heard in this thread.

Got mine today and was so impressed I went back and picked up another one before leaving my shop's parking lot. Haven't put my custom together yet but really liking this figure so far.

Yeah, it is a great body. Just wish they had stayed at the same price as on first release. Should have got two of them then.

I just painted mine to match my HT Chris Redfield head and gave it a good spray with Purity Seal. It took four good coats before it lost that shine, but I am pretty happy with the result. Let's see how long it lasts.

Naked picture linked. I don't know why I think a painted one should be any less work safe than a blank one. Random. Don't want anyone having a cardiac, though. Or getting any more of those "But why do we need a figure with a pee pee?" posts. I guess we will get those anyway.

Nice job on the Redfield!

Not sure how the weight of the figure will affect in in the long term but very impressed with the body and really like the neck especially for my Walking Dead customs. I got several WGP heads and they are a perfect match for the neck, the TTM19 neck was a bit too much on some of the WGP heads so I prefer the Worldbox body. I also like the almost dirty look of this fig for TWD customs as well since they are always nasty and dirty:)

This may be one of those sleepers that are highly sought after once they start drying up, glad I got 3 while they are at retail.

On the weight, it seems to be very similar to the TTM-19 in materials and feel, and that is holding up fine, although the ankles have always been rubbish. The ankle joints on this are better so should last fine. Some have found that they get lose after a while, but I have repositioned mine a lot and haven't noticed any change.

I got the blank VT-001, which is a nasty pale colour and doesn't match anything I had. However, giving it a couple of coats of brown pigment ink and a bit of shading did the job fine and, as pigment ink stains, the colour should last.

I just hope Worldbox aren't doing the HT limited-release thing, otherwise these things will just continue to increase in price. The place I got mine from had them on pre-order and are now out of stock. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Got mine today, I haven't opened him up yet as I've been busy running errons today, just picked up another detolf for my ever growing collection and a shallow book shelf for cased figures.

I will be bashing a shane from the walking dead with mine and displaying him next to my zombie fishtank bluray set I got the other day. So glad world box put this body out with the shane head, I can finally start my walking dead display:)

Its a suprisingly nice figure, very happy with mine!

Yeah it is a nice figure, very well made and the shane sculpt is really very good. I'm still trying to figure out the outfit to bash but so far so good.

Here is my set-up ATM, still very much a WIP but I'm liking the looks of this shelf so far:)

Looking good iggy, I might try that look myself, but I would tuck in the pants and the boots, If I remember correctly that's how he wore it in the show.

I'm on and off about tucking the pants. It sorta makes him look short and sloppy. I'm also on the lookout for a button shirt to replace the black tee. It's a waste not to show the ripped body on this figure. Waiting on belt, holster, handgun to complete it. And maybe a watch and a Gurkha knife so he doesn't look too bare.

Yeah man, I like that idea. I'm gunna try and focus on completing mine, I got to start shopping around for the outfit and accessories and doing it right cause right now mine looks kinda lame:lol

Here's a pic of my Shane and a WIP of a "expanded universe" if you will Shane once I get a 2nd Shane head - going to use the body for a different custom and slap the Shane head on a HitFigure body.

The first Shane has a nicely weathered pair of 3A cargo pants, cocoa brown dyed t shirt, black boots, necklace, shotgun, gun and holster, custom hat and custom stand. I was going for the "18 miles out" look with hat added.

The Sherriff WIP still needs his collar pins and name tag put on (which I have) and I'm waiting on his badge and King Cty patches from 1/6 scale king. The custom includes a Sherriff Burns shirt heavily weathered, Barney Ross brown cargos, dirty undershirt, black boots, belt with gun/holster from LAPD Tiger, ammo clip from HT T1000 and shotgun from T1 T 800.

What shoes are you guys using for this figure? I'm fairly new to 1/6 and I bought shoes from mc toys and the feet don't fit in them.

Yea, i had to use a pair of true type feet since the have the hinged foot. The WB feet look great but would be a pain to put in shoes unless you take out shoe strings and even then you could damage the boots. There are boots like the ones from the Hot Toys Platoon line that you just pop the feet pegs into, just don't know of any black ones.
