Let us all pour one out for Pingping. R.I.P
We're still reeling from the news that He Pingping, the world's smallest man, died on Saturday at the age of 21.
In the hopes that it would facilitate the grieving process, we've been looking back at the life of Pingping and his many great accomplishments. Like the time he met the world's tallest man. And the time he managed to get between the world's longest female legs.
While details about Pingping's cause of death have yet to be released, it seems that his life came to a premature end a little over a week after he began suffering chest problems while in Rome to tape an Italian reality television program. As much as we've tried, we can't think of a single way to blame this on Snooki.
Apparently, there is already a new challenger aiming for the diminutive Chinese man's vacated title. His name is Khagendra Thapa Magar and he stands but 22 inches tall -- 7 inches shorter than Pingping was!
Of course, Guinness is skeptical of Magar's age, which is either 17 or 18, depending on whom you ask. But in our opinion, even if he's legal, Magar, who is Nepalese and knows karate, should just hold his miniature horses until his rival's tiny casket reaches the soil of his native land.
