Would you want 1:6 Battle Droids?

I've mentioned it before, but I'd love to see the 1/6 Droideka! Essential to that is the prototype, which I know exists with someone at Hasbro. Just prior to Ep3 opening and Hasbro unofficially/quietly "retired" the 12" line did I learn that. I don't want to out the Hasbro rep I talked to, but it seems a shame that somehow that prototype would go to waste.

I understand tooling costs might be a bear on this one, but of all the "Prequel" figures I'd like to see get produced, this one is at the top of my list.

I won't buy them, though I won't mind seeing them made.

It's easy for me to say here that I'll buy Battle Droids and every other fringe character, but then the secondary market tells a different story. I would certainly buy some specific backgrounders from ROTJ, and that's as far as I'll go.

I'm gonna have to agree with the two fellahs about the Hasbro ones. A good repaint and they're fine. Not perfect, but certainly not THAT bad and they're wallet friendly to boot! I'd rather Sideshow spend their time developing other characters.

I like droids, so yeah, I'd take them, but I agree the Hasbro one's aren't horrible and I'd rather get something else from SSC.

I would buy them instantly. To me, if you have Republic troops then you need Separatists. Sideshow could repaint them & make a huge return on investment. Plus, they would be cheaper because clothing and clothing accessories would not be required. Just a gun & binoculars.

I'm betting that IF Sideshow made them, they wouldn't be cheaper. They'd be priced to fit with the current rate of their line, $70-$125. Ki-Adi-Mundi comes with crap and he's right up there. Which makes the Hasbro ones look even more appealing...

There are movie rendered Camo Droids, but I don't think they appear in the movie itself...

Still, we know what Sideshow are like...
