The asking price is ridiculous.

But there's some stuff there I wish I had for nostalgia reasons. Especially all the old diecast playsets and figures. Those kick ass!

But not $60K worth of kickass.

Strange... Just today, I was wondering if a complete SSC exclusive/inclusive collection where salable, and if, how much it would go for? I'm talking about every exclusive or inclusive version of the 12" SW line SSC has released (meaning 'sold out') thus far. Yes, all expansion packs included. Any thoughts?

Including Jabba and Throne, I would think about $1200 bucks would be a realistic estimate.

I think the guy would be better off setting up a series of lot auctions. Each lot focusing on a line or and era.

If he had the vintage Micro Diecasts sets as one lot auction - for a reasonable price - I'd bid on those for sure.

Did I mention those diecast sets are kick ass?

Too bad he wants the winner to come by and pick it up (worldwide, yey!!!) along with a 5% paypal fee, and 8% sales tax (lier, it's personal posessions, it doesn't matter if you own a company unless that company sells Star Wars collectibles) So it'd be like what, $70,000 total?

Hasbro isn't worth that much....

I love those die cast sets... I have most of them. But haven't completed the collection yet.

I only had a used HOTH set. I really wanted the Death Star Battle one.

They look a little crude now, but back when they first came out - they were awesome.
