Does anyone know a good way of cleaning the straps on the replica belts? The back of my belts have a sticky residue on them from the carrying case. I read something about linseed oil and white vinegar but I'm a nervous to use that because the oil is a paint thinner. I don't want to ruin the straps.
Oh ok.. I know what you are talking about. I used a bit of lemon pledge and it cleaned the back of the strap quite well and removed those residue. It happened on my WHC replica last time too. You have to wipe your replicas regularly to prevent all this tarnishes from settling onto the belt. Here it is >>> https://www.pledge.com/en-US/Products/Pages/lemon-clean.aspx
Thanks for the info man. Pledge didn't damage the strap at all?
This isn't a necropost. Just a dig to find other belt collectors. I was initially going to start anew thread and likely should have but all I wanted to know is if others here collect belts.
I have the new Network replica belt on the way. Just looking for fellow freaks who might have a stash of these beauties already. Would Love to further appreciate belt collections.
I already have the Network Logo replica... I actually just received it a few days ago. It looks really good, better looking than the scratch Big Logo replica IMO... Some pics below... Enjoy
With my other belts...
