They could just not reveal how he became blue and metal winged, like how Hawkeye and Black Widow didn't have a setup for where they are now.
This has always been the case and yet we have seen R-rated Punisher and Blade films. I don't see why this couldn't happen again. There are some licenses that just don't lend themselves to being made available to wide audiences. If del Toro does the "Dark" Justice League he wants to in the right way then it could very possibly be R territory. There's more money for (all) studios in making them accessible to a wider audience.
That would be awesome
But there'll never be an R-Rated X-Men or Wolverine or Punisher or Blade movie again.

Can't wait to see Domino and hopefully Psylocke
I find the whole rating thing odd.
It's allowed show a man getting stabbed, getting decapitated or getting his torso blown away, but you can't see the blood or internal organs because that makes it too violent

will it be Modern X-Force or old X-Force?

Seems an unnecessary censorship, the audience sees the act or killing/murder in all it violence and rage, but is denied the consequence shot of the fluids, which is no more gruesome that what they've been shown.
One Word... Avengers. That movie made over a billion dollar largely in part because people could take their kids and teenagers could go see it.
After making so much at that rating i doubt Marvel, Fox or Sony will go R again
DC is a different animal entirely, they seem more ballsy.
Unknown right now, but i'd bet Modern as they'd have to setup up Cable.
Because Disney owns it now.
What's with all this X-Men junk?
1, 2, Origins, reboot, prequel, sequel, solo movie, Future, Past, etc. etc.
