X-men 3 movie clip with Sentinel vs Wolverine!

i agree tom. i does indeed stink that they are going for the trilogy, and it seems that they are making it really difficult if they ever decide to change their minds in the future. in a way i kind of like that they are stopping at 3 movies, how many can they really make and still make something new everytime???
(remember they cant cater ONLY to the comic book fans)

Even though they are closing the book on X-Men, they have already announced a Wolverine movie. If the choice was to go on with more X movies or concentrate on other characters like Cap or Thor, I'm for moving on. However I don't know that consolidating everything at Marvel, rather than at the studios is a good idea. After all, it was the Columbia and Fox development teams that gave us the 1st 2 Spider-mens and X-Mens.

That clip was AWEFUL. I mean could Halle Berry act an worse then? "Dont do this logan!" Tom CMOPLETELY hit it on the head, it was sooo staged. Two big lights are supposed to be a sentinel in the movie? come on! I'd expect an effects loaded scene with an awesome lookin sentinel right in front of me. Hopefully ther'll be some music r something to make this scene more 'theatrical'.
That scene was a shame, as I'm really anticipating this movie. Im prepared for dissapointment but I'd really like the trilogy to end with a bang. and a big one at that.

Batman Begins is the best bat film imo. With Batman right after. No debates needed to justify that they both rule.

I've never been so disappointed in this board. You guys have seen maybe 2-2.5 minutes of footage and you're pretty much saying this will be the second worse comic book movie ever (nothing can be as bad as Hulk). Maybe that seen is just the teaser for the Sentinel and we'll see more of it later? I'm pretty bummed as well about this being the final installment but what do you expect with so many big names cast? I wish they had locked in no-name actors for 5 films in the beginning.

Isn't bitching like this supposed to be reserved for those that we make fun of?

Except for Halley Berry and Ian Mckellen they did get no-name actors. Jackman didn't get famous until after the first movie. Patrick Stweart is not doing anything better nowadays.

And the original Batman wasn't a Batman movie...it was a Joker movie.

My feelings about X3 are not just based on the clips and trailers, but on reviews of the screenplay and an awareness of all of the production nonsense and rushing that was going on. The two trailers that we have seen so far aren't so bad in and of themselves, but if you know more about the whole story it's easy to not get so excited. This one is more about pleasing actors and agents than pleasing fans. However, maybe the final movie will pull it all together in a way that improves upon the awful script. I would be more optimistic about that possibility if Bryan SInger were at the helm. (Of course, part of me thinks that Singer wouldn't have rushed a bad script into production in the first place...)

I agree, nothing beats the original 1960's Batman! It had comedy, action, and guest stars! Then it's Batman Begins (one of the best superhero films, so good it feels like a real movie, not just a superhero movie), Batman Forever (for Jim Carry's Riddler), Batman Returns and then the bottom two IMHO are the 1989's Batman and the worst Batman flm ever... Batman & Robin.

You guys don't know how that clip was edited. It very well could have been edited to keep actual screen images of the Sentinels a suprise until the movie is released.

I think the clip sucked too, but I am keeping my judgment of the movie undecided until I actually see it.

Superman 1 and 2 are the best IMO.

I loved Batman Begins but still prefer '89 Batman and Returns.

The Superman movies where ok. I never felt they where anything special. I thought both Spider Man movies where pretty awesome as where the X-Men movies. This one appears to be pretty cool but like with any of these I expect some cheesy acting. The Hulk now that was a movie that SUCKED. The Original Batman is ranks high for me. Batman Begins was pretty solid got it on DVD from an ex-girlfriend last year watched it once with her but haven't seen it since.

I need to watch Batman Begins again because I wasn't impressed at all when I saw it at it's opening midnight show. I still think the first Batman was the best mainly because of the great "look" of the film and some real nice designs including that real boss Batwing. Batman Returns was just as campy as the TV series but more darker and should I say "adult". I think Burton is one of the most overrated directors in Hollywood. He gives us nice visuals but insists on dropping some real corny scenes/dialogue in his films.

Spidey 1 & 2 still rank as the best to me. Spidey 2 got real close to going over the top with some cheesy moments but I thought the action between Spidey and Ock looked freakin' great!

The fact the corny and McFarlanesque Venom will be in #3 gives me very little hope for this next one. Couldn't they have waited for sequel #12 for Venom and given us Mysterio, Kraven, Vulture, Scorpion, Shocker, Rhino, etc., instead in the meantime?

I CANT BELIEVE YOU GUYS ARE SO INTO THE SPIDEY FRANCHISE!! Blade was THE best Superhero movie EVER done!!!!!! That creesy Peter Parker 1940s ending was BS!!! Killed the hole GD movie for me! What guy in the new millenium wouldnt totally bang his high school sweethart, let alone, the one that got away!!!!!!!! Sooo, so campy I cant stand it. Now Spidey II, that was good, but I say;
