I'm calling it now, at the end of this movie, they'll be getting better designed costumes.

That would be good and maybe Storm will get a new costume when she joins the team. The villain costumes look better than the heroes. Still looking forward to the movie.

These aren't even X-Costumes though. So many wrongly think they are. Moira has one and they're students not freedom fighters at the start of the movie so don't have costumes because they have no reason to. These are most likely loaners from Morisa CIA connection, hence why she has one.

They'll get costumes when they become heroes, as such this is their first act of using their powers intentionally for helping others. Once they decide to do that more often they'll get uniforms for that purpose

geez its so awful knowing mystique's character arc from first class and then seeing her in her human for the past two movies. I understand the selling point, but to act like that first movie didn't happen is strange. I know xmen's past with continuity but this is the most staggering instance. Also everybody's hating on mystique but in the original xmen films she pretty much stole every scene and was probably the most intriguing character, its such a shame that she has been pretty much ruined (all the while being put front and center of everything)

she was mostly blue in X-Men Days of Future Past. With the timeline alteration she's gone from villain to anti-hero. Her outing mutants in he 70s and Charles changing her mind about her path to evil led to that.

Yep, could be.

You know, even that quick paint up it made all the difference. Let's hope Fox hands it over to someone else for the next trilogy and with the new Logan coming in, he's short muscled tank with the mask and a proper costume. Fat chance though.

That's true, but I don't even care, they could have Cyclops in a bra and panties, as long as the movie is good I'm happy. I love all the talk about comparing The horsemen and Apocalypse to a cult.
