I still think it looks pretty good. J-law is still not such a good actor. Looks like we'll see some good mutant action though

It's so out of character for Mystique for being the person to take charge and instill confidence in others to fight a battle. The trailer certainly made the movie look more interesting, finally, but eh.

Looks ok, but I have that same numb feeling from all of Singer's other X-films except for X2.

So we go from Wolverine and the X-Men, to Pisstique and the X-Men.

I think Singer started out excellent, but he's four in now and has completely lost focus on what made the series great in the first place. I guess you can say this about any creator that has had a long tenure with anything.

Every big budget movie has to make commercial compromises. J-Law's prominent role here is clearly a part to that. Could be better, but could be worse.

If it weren't for Oscar Isaac and if I didn't need the pallet-cleanser between CIVIL WAR and SUICIDE SQUAD I'd probably skip this. Gosh that CGI looks pretty awful.
