I don't think The Wolverine was that bad...at least I wouldn't put it on the same list as Origin,X3, and F4. They still ruined a good comic story and a part of Wolverine's background that's essential to the character by making the film a simple fish out of water story, but it wasn't terrible,imo.

It falls in between good and bad, I can live with that.

But it isn't like there was a grand strategy/creative design, and a single producer at the helm for all of these films. It stands to reason there would be some variation, just like you see at WB over the years.
