Agreed on that line too, doesn't work for Magneto, they should've used pretty much anyone else in that room.

As for the hoodie, I don't think he'll keep it after revealing himself, I bet it's just for dramatism.

I'm not underwhelmed by Apocalypse, I'm sure they're purposefully not showing anything of him, Singer has shown in DOFP that he was a perfect grasp of powers, I'm sure he's gonna do Apocalypse justice.

Yeah, the "Who the **** are you?" line is something Wolverine would say, not Magneto. He's too sophisticated to express himself that ways, especially if he's meeting such a powerful mutant. The trailer looks pretty good and I'm glad the Charles and Magneto seem to be play a major role in the story, but Apocalypse is a bit underwhelming. He looked so tiny when he was standing next to the other mutants in the mansion scene. Also what's with the hoodie? Hoodies everywhere it seems..plus it reminds me of Dr. Doom. It was cool to see Quicksilver again though.

He definitely looks underwhelming there, I think he costume looks fine but he definitely looks too small. Supposedly they're still working on his look, he's supposed to have some CGI in his design as well.

From what I can see there, I'm happy the costumes look much better.

Gambit (introductory role)
Havok (pair off with Scott his brother)
Storm or Psylocke
Archangel

Magneto wouldve been the protagonist

Apocalypse antagonist

The horsemen look amazing. Apocalypse looks good, sure he could do with being bigger but he still might change size never know

I'm not blown away with the costume designs here, but that's never been a strength of Singer's X-films. I suspect this movie will focus on, and succeed in areas that really matter most--story, acting, mood, and the general direction/editing. If folks are most interested in characters that look great, where the other stuff is secondary, we'll have plenty of that in Snyder's DC films.

I agree Kara, there are other more important items in filmmaking, but then don't show him at all if he's not ready.

Why show an anemic version of a powerfully commanding character.

Did they say that Apoc's look was going to change? I saw that the voice wasn't finalized, but I wouldn't assume he would be looking very different unless someone stated otherwise. I mean, those shots are done. The only way to change his look is to make him fully CG or something, and he's not wearing the little motion capture nodes we sometimes see. Maybe he doesn't look as impressive as some would expect, but again, this is a Singer X-film. I'm not expecting to see a hulking CG beast like MCU's Thanos here.
