I liked that they didn't retcon it and give him back his Adamantium claws right away, most other CBMS this year did things you wouldn't expect for shock value then retconned it all back to the status quo before the credits roled

Thor getting his hand chopped off, Loki dying, Pepper getting superpowers, Pepper dying. All went back to the status quo. Though Loki is out of jail and ****** stayed dead, so thats different.

Thor's hand was perfectly in proportion to what would've happened in that instance. Saying otherwise is stretching the scenario. It's not like Thor had it chopped off the whole movie then suddenly got it back at the end. It was scene-specific and worked within that scene. Pepper's fate as far as Extremis is concerned, was unspecified at the end and Tony had the mini arc reactor removed from his chest as well, so that's a no on IM3 too. Though I'll give you MoS. Kal was a murderous, uncaring bastard and the unnecessary death toll was for pure shock value.

One thing I have never understood in Days of Future Past (or Old Man Logan for that matter) is how Logan has grey hair when his healing factor prevents him from ageing.

:lol

Right? Doesn't make sense but hey it's a comic book; I guess John Byrne wanted to show to the readers that it's way into the future.

Yeah, design is neat. Too bad they couldn't go with comic book colors; I'm partial to the brown and yellow. :D
