I agree with pretty much everything you said, Kara. The Franklin Mutant angle could work, but I don't see Reed being so closed-minded towards the X-Men and other mutants. I think of him as open-minded to a fault, with his logic and curiosity getting the better of him.

I'd really rather they kept these two groups separate though. Just too many characters to have to juggle. A team ensemble movie is hard enough to pull off. Two teams together is asking for trouble.

Yeah, Reed is the one who I would imagine would be least susceptible to any kind of public fear mongering. But if mutants were real, I think the public outcry would be a lot stronger than a lot of what we've seen in the real world. Possibly on the order of anti-Islamic feelings post-9/11.

X-Men have only recently begun interacting with other Marvel characters. They've had one or two crossovers over the years but few.

Kinda why i like X-Men books. You buy an X-Men book and you get only X-Men, unlike others where you buy a Thor book and can have characters you don't care two ****s about taking up space in his book.
I think Wolverine becoming a member of the Avengers is really weird, and totally contrary to the character as I really knew him from the older comics I read and love. Beast made a lot more sense, because of his personality. He was always extroverted and very friendly, and never seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. Wolvie is the opposite of that, and really, the general sense with the X-Men is more one of skepticism toward the public, and government (Senator Kelly, Alpha Flight). Of course, Wolvie was motivated to help his fellow mutant, and had a sense of honor and duty, but to work for the Avengers? Too far.

I'm really digging those black suits. They all look really good.

So nice to see Berry back as Storm again. :rock

Man, Nova. You even beat superherohype.com with that post. Is that a new image? Never even seen it before. :lol

I like 'em too. A definite improvement for Wolverine. Where's McAvoy though

"fans' will hate them like with everything else though :dunno

I didn't even notice that even was missing. Saw Stewart and said 'check'! :lol

And yeah, 'the fans' will say....'Should've been white' or my favorite one - 'should've been a lighter black - not grey - but a lighter black.' :rotfl

I like 'em too. A definite improvement for Wolverine and love Fassbenders costume.

No McAvoy though

"fans' will hate them like with everything else though :dunno

I like those outfits WAY better than the leather fetish outfits of the X-Men trilogy and the silly yellow and blue outfits of First Class. Also like the fact Wolverine isn't wearing that gaudy helmet. :lol
