Damn, i was looking forward to her most of all of the original actors.

Was probably a small role and didn't serve the plot so it was cut to keep the run-time down.

Still

Both movies have got a lot to juggle in terms of characters, they were most likely cut to keep focus better on the main plot

It's a ****ing shame he's cut out a character who actually further ties DofP into the original films, but will leave in the superfluous addition of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. Stupid is as stupid does.

This is still a fox movie. Any assumption that this is an adaptation from the comics will always be false.

A straight adaption, yes. The Wolverine had more than just a handful of nods to the mini series.

Exactly, just like X2 had more than a few references to "God Loves, Man Kills", and X-Men 3 had more than a few references to "The Dark Phoenix Saga".

Heck, DOFP is, funnily enough, based on DOFP.

I am sure that the next movie after this one will be very closely based on the "Age of Apocalypse" storyline; just not a direct adaptation.
