Definitely would of had the height over the entire cast. I just wonder how they will interpret it, make him the big blue metallic guy from the comic or give us a modernized version.

As long as it's convincing and they chose a good voice actor for it I'm game. I wonder if any of the Four Horsemen would make an appearance. Maybe Archangel as Death, or hell even Wolverine. Wasn't Gambit Death in Age of Apocalypse?

No, Gambit wasn't. Candra did though. Candra was the Leader of the Thieves Guild (that Gambit was part of).

Oh alright, my mistake. I hope they change it up and make Archangel Death. He was one of my favorite character designs as a kid.

I never was a big Gambit fan, and I know there were a lot of people excited for him in Origins but I think he was handled poorly. Hopefully they expand the team more to get the full team like how it was in the Fox animated series in AOA.

At least we get Bishop in DOFP, but since Cyclops is dead along with Jean I guess Cable is nullified from the series.

If they follow his comic origin...

Exactly, just like X2 had more than a few references to "God Loves, Man Kills", and X-Men 3 had more than a few references to "The Dark Phoenix Saga".

Heck, DOFP is, funnily enough, based on DOFP.

I am sure that the next movie after this one will be very closely based on the "Age of Apocalypse" storyline; just not a direct adaptation.

It's NOT the Age of Apocalypse storyline though. First off even FOX would have to be stupid to do two futuristic storylines back-to-back. It'll be an origin story/introduction of Apocalypse.

Well, we don't know for sure if it is or isn't going to follow the Age of Apocalypse storyline, unless I have missed something. But Fox have shown in the past that they can adapt a comic book storyline, even if it is just having references to it rather than a page for page adaptation.

Wasn't the movie title X-Men: Apocalypse and not X-Men: Age of Apocalypse? That's a pretty good indication right there.

X2 wasn't titled X2: God Loves, Man Kills yet it was still heavily based on that very story. X-Men 3 wasn't titled X-Men 3: The Dark Phoenix Saga, yet it was still heavily based on that story.

Also X1 wasn't titled X-Men: Remember the Time Magneto Tried to Turn the World's Leaders into Jellyfish Mutants?. :lecture
