Broke and happy
X1 has its charm, especially HJ as Wolverine.
X2 also has its good parts but its not as great as its made out to be.

It probably would be best if this movie is a massive bomb, FOX bails on the license and Marvel buys it back. Added bonus: Singer never works again.
FOX in general does not seem to have as good a grasp on the characters as Marvel, IMO. I'd love it if Marvel got X-Men and Spider-Man back. Guaranteed visual design on X-Men would leagues better than this unimaginative crap.

No thanks. Iron Man 3, and Thor 2 weren’t as good as the last two Fox X-men films. And Singer hasn’t made a bad X-Men movie yet. In fact the series went downhill when he left, and became good again when he returned. I have faith this will be the best summer blockbuster film of 2014.
I'd agree on those films but in my case, I was never a fan of the comics, so I wasn't really all that disposed to like them to begin with (though I'd rate the original IM and Thor quite highly). You also can't argue that Marvel isn't doing something right with Iron Man, given what that series has grossed. I'd rate all of them better than what FOX did with FF and a lot of aspects in regards to X-Men. X-Men 1 & 2 were a good start (biggest weaknesses being special effects and bland character design) but I think the franchise is sorely in need of a refresh. What I'm seeing here doesn't make me look forward to how they're going to butcher Apocalypse.Marvel is great at how structured their universe is, as well as most of their costume designs. I can’t deny that. But I think they get a little bit more credit than they deserve.
Incredible Hulk
Iron Man 2
Iron Man 3
Thor 2
Are barely okay films.
I bet Winter Solder spanks it by about $200mil, if not more.
I’m not big on Chris Evans as Captain America, but I think WS looks pretty good. It will easily be the best marvel movie of phase 2. It won’t be making more money than DOFP though. Unfortunately for Marvel, Fox has the female Robert Downey in Jen Lawrence. If the reviews are decent enough, this will be a pretty big money maker.

Iron Man 1 and Thor 1 were really good. Captain America was good in the first half but the second half really ruined it from being an all around great superhero movie.
Marvel isn’t doing anything right with the Iron Man films other than the first, people are coming to see Robert Downey be his usual quirky self. Also I love Don Cheadle as actor, but he was a total miscast. Howard and Downey had way more chemistry.
I think maybe, after Apocalypse the series should be rebooted into something more comic booky, but I would love to see Singer end the series on a high note, and other then a few designs, everything about this movie has me excited.
I don’t think Evans is a bigger star than Hemsworth. Also Captain America is always a harder sell overseas. I can’t see it being more successful than Thor.
I don’t like Jennifer Lawrence at all(much prefer Rebecca), but it doesn’t matter who she is playing, she will bring all those female fans to the theater, and right now she is bigger than Hugh Jackman. You have about 6 actors in DOFP that are bigger than Evans alone, no way can I see Cap outperforming DOFP.
But the reviews will also play apart in box office success.
Again, I am willing to overlook bad design if the movie is good.
Had ASM been a good movie I would've ignored that horrendous costume.
We'll see. Just looking at things in general, there's already FAR more excitement over Winter Solder than there is over DOFP.

I was extremely skeptical for ASM before it came out and I hated the idea of it from the very beginning. I saw it for the first time a couple months ago and it was as bad as I hoped for
The suit was disgusting, and even with the change back to a more comic oriented outfit of ASM2 I think it will end up being worse.
