And yet you're completely gay for TDKR which couldn't be further removed from them. :cuckoo:

Well I ask again, what's so great about it? Other than Wolverine and Projessor X I pretty much hated all of Singer's casting choices (okay Nightcrawler was decent too.) X2 had a decent opening and buildup but the finale was pretty laughable with Cyclops about to make out with Patrick Stewart and Stryker looking all silly with those large chains loosely draped across his face.

Add a mostly miscast line of characters to a build up that didn't even go anywhere (especially since technically there no longer even is an "X3") and it just seems pointless to be bound by anything established in the first two films.

Magneto break out scene was kinda cool, Deathstrike-Wolvie fight, Stryker's attack on the mansion, Mystique's best showing (we even got to see Rebecca sans make-up in her prime), Colossus cameo, Pyro subplot, Phoenix Force tease (which was a bust thanks to X3 but cool at the time).

For a sequel with no real origin story to carry it along, it was very well done. Especially considering all the characters it was juggling.

In FC, Xavier and Magneto had one of those overly emo sequences between two straight men as well... without the pretense of a female telepath. Still a good movie though.

Man, just goes to show you how epically bad X3 was... it's tainted your perception of X2! :horror

One of the many reasons they named this one "Rises". :lol

Yeah, like literally scoop out her turds I bet. Anne Hathaway can suck and juggle my Christmas ornaments.

Oh and besides a few Star Wars films and a couple of "classics" here and there spread out through his supposed childhood/teenage years, Khev has horrible, horrible taste in cinema.

I guess X2 needed a little bit of True Lies and a couple of other relations to certain *insert 70s film A* and *insert 80s film B* to be good and meet his superlative standards.

:monkey3 (yourth thstill my hero Kevin)

Not that there's anything wrong with that. We all have bad tastes here and weird reasoning for what's "good", "bad" or meh.

Not even remotely on topic, unless the Pink Panther is a mutant like when-played-by-a-stuntwoman-Catwoman up there.

Not at all. But that video on french stereotypes got me thinkin about the Pink Panther series again, and how ****ing funny it was.

Not acceptable. If we all posted what came to our minds this message board would be chaos.

How dare you.

All it takes is one "Who Let the Dogs Out" reference to blow everything out of balance... we must stay focused! :gah:

Khev has horrible, horrible taste in cinema.

Coming from you that is the greatest compliment I could have ever hoped for. I'm sure CelticPredator thinks you have AWESOME taste in cinema. :D

On a side note was it actually confirmed that that wasn't Hathaway in the scene above where she's walking toward the bike?
