Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

I like how you should SHUT YOUR HOLE!

So, i wonder if Mystiques role will be changed in light if Jennifer Lawrence recent Oscar win.

I was thinking about this the other day. Possible she won't want to do it now that's she's too good for an action movie targeting mass audiences. Wasn't that Halle Berry's POV back when she had her 15 minutes of critical acclaim years back?

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

I don't care if it makes sense or not, my concern is who cares in general. When it was going to be a minor fan service like Patrick Stewart at the end in a cameo just to bridge them it was fine, but now he's adding more and more of the original cast and the way he's talking about fixing stuff implies giving them even more screen time. I don't want or care about that stuff. Even if he does fix a few things in this one, it's not going to somehow make X3 or Wolverine a watchable good movie or fix the questionable CGI in X1 so why bother. I'd rather keep what was working going, the relationship that developed between Fass and Macavoy was great. I certainly didn't think hey this needs more Halle Berry.

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

I hope X3 is retconned by this movie. If this is indeed a story that dabbles in time travel and alternate realities, like the comics, that may very well happen.

It might be nice watching First Class, this (which would also be post X2), X-Men and X2.

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

Jack the Giant Slayer got a 49% critic approval rating on rottentomatoes.com. I'm so glad that after the awesome X:FC the franchise is going back to Singer.

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

The majority of the film will be set with the FC cast and the old will most likely be kept serperate from them

She seems more down to earth than Berry. She's attached to two film franchises that are the bread and butter of Hollywood. She might want a bigger role but she won't quit.

Lawrence has already spoken of returning. I think her main concern is production needs to find a new makeup formula for the blue paint. She had severe skin reactions to the stuff used in the first film (large blisters and hives that needed medical attention).

X3 was just a training room scene. Except the new recruit, The Human Rat some how dies during it, and they have a sad.

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence told E! Online that her makeup for Mystique will be getting an upgrade for the new film. Instead of full body paint, which reportedly caused her severe skin irritation on the set of First Class, she'll be strapping on a body suit. "It will be from neck down so it will cut out time and the blisters," she said.

Awww man, since she'll likely be naked (proud of her mutancy at then end of FC) this doesn't sound good

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

They'll probably do a plaster casting of her and sculpt all the mystique bits, then use that as a master for a new mold and create the suit. It would look like her (and technically it is her).

They have an established look for Mystique. Whatever methods they change you know what the end result will look like.

Shh... DiFabio and Nam aren't supposed to know.

Isn't Jennifer's boyfriend playing Beast? She'll be back as long as they don't break it off.
