So just for my info where in the continuity does this fall in after X3 and if so will they explain how the " cure" was temporary and the all got their powers back or we going to ignore what happened in the movie

on another note I hope to see a love triangle spawn with Iceman, kitty and Rogue similar to what we had in original with wolverine , jean and scott.

Unknown. We do know the cure was temporary from the end of X3 so that is open and closed, this does take place after X3.

Project Wideawake (The Sentinels) follows the natural progression of the franchise so far.

X1 people want Mutants registered and policed

X2 Mutant discord rises after the assassination attempt on the President and Magneto attempting to wipe out Humanity

X3 the Mutant problem needs to be adressed in a non lethal, humane manner, they attempt to cure mutants of their mutancy and remove the threat they pose.

X-Men Days of Future Past would seem to have had humanity decide that since they can't control mutants (X1 & X2) and can't remove the problem humanely (X3) that they'll have to exterminate mutantkind

on another note I hope to see a love triangle spawn with Iceman, kitty and Rogue similar to what we had in original with wolverine , jean and scott.
