Good, I thought Cyclops was great and had a lot of potential in X-Men 1 and 2. I hated how they did that mind control crap with him in X2 and then I was gutted when they killed him off in the last one.

I doubt they do him justice (closest they got was with the first, with all these characters in this one, it'll be impossible), but it'll be nice to see him again.

Fox Creative Consultant Mark Millar once referred to The Wolverine as Fox's answer to Iron Man, meaning the start of an expanded and interconnected universe. Now it appears they're really trying to answer Iron Man.

JoBlo is reporting on a small re-shoot for the film in Montreal. According to their source, a short scene was being filmed, potentially for a post-credits stinger like Nick Fury's appearance in Iron Man, that saw Logan entering an airport and being greeted by Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier.

Now, this raises many points if it turns out to be true. The first of which is that The Wolverine has long been confirmed to take place after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, and if you recall Xavier died in that film. If you think back further though, the post-credits scene in that film teased Xavier's "revival" in the body of his braindead twin brother on Muir Island. Xavier would be able to walk in his "new body" and JoBlo's sources report that he was in fact not in a wheelchair for the shoot.

Why is Xavier coming to visit Logan at an airport? Could it be to setup the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past? Treat all of this as a rumor for now, but feel free to sound off with your theories below!

The Cyclops character has been treated like **** in 4 movies now (X1, X2, X3, and Wolverine)

Xavier's been dead/reborn/cloned/in space/walking/crippled so many times in the comics that my apathy towards him has carried over to the movie version.

X-Men did it Before Iron Man :lecture

The only hiccup is how they never explained (as far as i remember) that the comatose man was Xavier's twin

Yea let's focus on that and the other plot elements of X3 : The Last Stand because that movie was so good we should keep referancing it in future films. Don't forget to have a good 15 minute scene where Wolverine talks to future mutants about his fight with Ryan Reynold's Darth Maul character.

Everytime a new cast member from the first 3 is added hope for this movie diminishes more and more. Singer is just going to pick up where he left off, excuse me I mean abandoned the franchise, and all the First Class stuff that fixed the franchise is going to go right out the window.

Ummm

for some odd reason, I like that idea. :lol

in October, Mangold revealed that the film follows the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, saying, "Where this film sits in the universe of the films is after them all. Jean Grey is gone, most of the X-Men are disbanded or gone, so there’s a tremendous sense of isolation for him."

The Wolverine is a post-XIII movie for sure. And now (possibly) a tie-in.
