Hopefully they Get rid of January jones. she was pretty much terrible the first time and no reason to bring that into a second.

I enjoy the first film and would go see a second. There are things for me that would need to be changed for it to be a great comic book as they didn't hit that with the first one.

He? What film where you watching :lol

That's what I get for trying to type that on my phone. Corrected

Give me more characters to care about. Honestly, outside of Professor X and Magneto I could didn't feel a connection to any of the rest. Get a new Emma Frost as I said because Jones was pretty much terrible. Those are just a couple things. As, I said it was a fun movie and I enjoyed it (even enough to buy it on blu) but it wasn't as impressive for me as say Thor or Cap.

Weird, I thought Thor and especially Cap were quite distant and boring. Seemed like their movies were made just for the sake of the avengers.

All the actors have stated several times at one point of the promotion of the first film, that the whole cast is signed for a whole trilogy :) including january jones, rose byrne, james mcavoy,etc...

If that were the case why then make a big deal about certain stars signing on? Why mentioned just Fassbender and Lawrence and not just say "Vaughn returning with all of the original cast?"

I concur. This was my favorite movie of last year, and there are some big faults in it for me. I didn't really care for any of the Xmen Freshman that were in it. My biggest problem with the movie is that I really had a hard time believing the Charles and Erik relationship that was forged through the course of the movie. Erik didn't have a problem bailing on his new BFF when he had the chance to kill off Shaw.

Hugh Jackman returns as the iconic mutant on July 26, 2013

Despite some production delays, the highly-anticipated franchise sequel, The Wolverine, appears to be back on track and now has an official release date of July 26, 2013.

To be directed by James Mangold, The Wolverine will follow up 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine and finds Logan beginning a forbidden romance with a Japanese woman whose hand in marriage is, unfortunately, promised to another man. Since Logan won't take "no" for an answer, it puts him into battle with her father and her samurai-sword-wielding brothers and Silver Samurai.

The new release date tentatively puts the project up against Lionsgate's Dirty Dancing remake and Walt Disney Pictures' Phineas and Ferb film.

Christopher McQuarrie provided the original screenplay with rewrites performed by Mark Bomback.

So what now? X-Men movies are not going to relate to eachother? If FOX was smart they would just scratch all the other movies and had XMFC be a new beginning of the franchise.

The first movie was average and only because of Mcavoy and Fassbender. They could greatly improve on the sequel by just having the two of them playing chess and discussing philosophies. Their history and their differences are what makes this an interesting story. It should be set up like HBO's Sunset Limited from last year.

20th Century Fox said that X:FC will connect by it's end (the trilogy or what have you) into X-Men 1. So essentially what is occurring in any Wolverine films is happening concurrently.

Well because it's a prequel it has to sacrifice to fit into the previous trilogy.

X:FC is better than than the singer trilogy (except X2) so they should'nt have to be restricted in it's storytelling to 'fit' with the originals

X:FC should be the start of a new series, with the new Wolverine film forgetting the Origins film completely & connecting later on after X:FC 2, that way they could introduce some more common characters like a young Storm, Jean, Warren etc... Without having to stop themselve becuase of the originals continuity.

That's what i'd prefer anyway.

:exactly::exactly:

Well filming is going to start early into the next year for this sequel, which I'm excited about. Just wish I knew more to what story line they are thinking. If it were me, I would carry out another movie with the current team as they are. Then leave cyclops, storm and Jean for a final third prequel, but thtas just my thoughts.

Well the X-Men team needs a little filling out? They lost Angel and Mystique. It would be nice to bring in another female character... maybe Jean or Storm or whatever they wanna do this time around. (It will probably end up being Jubilee or something :lol)

I heard after the film came out they want Cable in the next film and open with the JFK assasination with Magneto controlling the magic bullet because he was pissed JFK took credit for the Cuba Missile Crisis. I think its brilliant!

The "magic bullet" theory was already been debunked given Governor Connally was turned sideways waving when the shots hit, and not facing forward like all the previous diagrams had showed. :huh
