i got a 360 as well, online name big al 139
need some buds to play, but currently only have call of duty 2, but saints row on its way, and fight night 3, oh and pro evo 6.
So if anyone wants a bud, a chat, or an enemy (only if you play on the other team!)
oh and im very civil, and usually very humble, (though that is because im crap!)

i had to send my 360 back to M$ because of the 3 red lights of death. i didn't send my hard drive so i didn't lose anything but everything is cool now...i bought one the christmas they came out so i had a first run 360 and you always play the odds when you get a first run of a new system(my ps2 died in less than a year(first production run of that system) and they wouldn't repair it for free...i hate sony)

thank you!! at least im not the only one that got a bad PS2. i went through 2 of them before i said no more. the first one Sony replaced for free and when the second one died Sony said i would have to pay over $150 to get it fixed. i post on a games forum and Sony fanboys swear up and down that Sony does no wrong. i've had my original xbox since day 1 and nothing has happened with it, and got my 360 back in may and nothing has gone wrong yet. i finally got a nintendo DS a couple weeks ago and i love it!!! the new super mario brothers is awesome!!!

i still have my original xbox too and haven't had a problem with it.
i'll get nintendo's new system because i felt really content with having an xbox and gamecube so i plan on having the 360 and wii. sony needs to change their attitude about themselves...just my observation.

I get my rear end handed to me when I try to play grown up games on Xbox live. I stick to co-op with my son on things like Star Wars Lego, or games where I can enter a cheat code so that I'm not getting killed every seven seconds. Halo live with tomandshell is the most pitiful thing you have ever seen. I changed my custom armor symbol to a big red target...

Microsoft has been trying to counter any perceived advantage that the PS3 might have over the Xbox 360. In addition to the upcoming HD-DVD drive for high def movie watching, they recently announced that a free update will allow the 360 to output a 1080p HD signal, which was something the PS3 had that the 360 didn't. Now if the Xbox gets an HMDI cable to output a digital signal (that also supports next gen audio), the console race will be even closer.
However, they could really put some distance between the 360 and the PS3 by focusing on one word: HALO. There are people that will buy a 360 just to play the third game. And now with Halo Wars coming, as well as the fourth entry in the Halo series being developed by Peter Jackson himself, I'm glad I have a 360.

We're almost a year in with the 360 and it seems like most of the games are just shinier versions of their PS2 and regular Xbox counterparts. We need a few more games designed specifically for the 360 that can really take advantage of what it can do. Give me a few more games like Oblivion and I'll be in good shape. The nice thing about the 360 is that you can get the base package and then add on the extras as you go, spreading the investment around a little. If you don't want the hard drive first, you don't have to have it. If you don't want the wireless controllers, you don't have to get them. Same thing with the HD drive. I like that they are offering the customer a choice rather than forcing them to get an HD drive, for example, even if they don't own an HDTV. A $200 price difference might be the thing that allows some families to get a next gen console. There are a lot of parents that will laugh in the face of a kid who asks for a $500-600 video game system. While $300 is still a lot, it's quite a bit more manageable for a lot of people.
That being said, I would like to get both. I will just have to save up to get hit with the PS3 price all at once. But if I can watch Star Wars on Bluray and LOTR on HD-DVD all without having to shell out for a stand alone player for either HD format, plus play games unique to both consoles, then I will be happy.

$4 Burger King games for the 360
You can play as that freaky king character and sneak up on people, delivering delicious BK food. Or have him smash into teenage BK employees in his bumper car.

the 360 has wireless built in. not sure where you get more availability from as Sony has already announced they wont make their quota for shipments. most of the games PS3 has the 360 will too... and their online might be cheaper, but LIVE is better. you are talking about MS there is no way for Sony to beat them with the online segment especially when Live has a 3 year headstart. HALO-- thats all i need to say. oops did i forget to mention that Sony no longer has exclusive rights to grand theft auto?? that was their only saving grace in the xbox vs. playstation fight. now that the 360 will have GT4 i think the 360 has a pretty good position in the battlefield.congerking said:

there are only 2 main advantages the PS3 has over the 360: the HDMI, and the Blu Ray. and i dont think eiter one of them is enough to warrant total victory. im willing to bet a good 90% of the PS3 owners dont have a 1080p television and who knows how great blu ray will really be??

I tried to have lunch at the Olive Garden recently, and it was full. There was a two hour wait to get in. I said heck with it and went to Taco Bell, which was cheaper and immediately available. No HD or DVD playback, but I think that the Wii is going to be more of a hit than some realize.
