Xbox Live??

alright so it seems like im the only person besides tom that posts in here. next week Chromehounds is releasing. this is supposed to be the Xbox Live game of the year. im gonna get it on my lunchbreak and play it as soon as i get home. PLEASE tell me you guys have heard of it... if not you are gonna miss out on a supposedly excellent game.

Well, I tried G.R.A.W. and got my rear end handed to me. Just couldn't get the hang of it. But I also picked up Elder Scrolls IV and have really been enjoying that so far. My favorite is still Call of Duty 2.

My wife is interested in Tomb Raider. Is that one any good?

yeah tomb raider is the best one of the series yet IMO, my girlfriend rented it and we both got addicted to playing it. i've been playing Oblivion on the PC on and off since it came out and i still dont think im half way finished. its most definately worth the money for the amount of playtime you get from it.

I enjoyed the X-Men game, but it was all over much too fast. That's why I got Elder Scrolls, since it seemed like one of those games you can play forever and really get your money's worth out of it.

I'm just not a fan of RPG's. The only one's I've really enjoyed are Fable and the KOTOR series. I'm waiting for the NCAA game right now and Gears of War if it ever comes out.

Then it's all about the Wii!!!!!!!!!!!

The thing I am enjoying about Elder Scrolls is that there is a fairly clear and strong main storyline, and you can just follow that. After the intro level, it automatically suggests your career and adjusts your stats accordingly, and it continues to automatically level you up without any tinkering. I don't like all of the upgrading and choices and open-endedness and "plus two hit points" vs. your "defense against cold damage" gibberish associated with RPGs, and this one allows you to play while keeping all of that in the background and not having to worry about it all. I just like to explore and whack people with my sword every now and then and the game lets me do that.

good point. not all RPGs are that appealing to me. my favorites will always be:
Zelda, FF7, KOTOR, Fable (even though it was way too short), Jade Empire.

im still waiting for KOTOR III to be announced so i can have a seizure.

im still trying to keep this thread alive. tomorrow chromehounds is released and i hope it kicks major arse!!!! i love driving around in giant mechs stepping on people and firing huge salvos of missles at others. this game better be good because right now its the only mech game for the 360. cant wait to try the online game too.

anyone want to form a sideshow chromehounds clan??

A new update on COD3 https://www.gamespot.com/news/6153806.html cant wait for this one. Chromehounds sounds good but I got Battle for Middle Earth 2 instead and like Loki I am waiting for Ncaa to come out next week.

I still haven't purchased a Xbox-360. I've put 400 euro's aside for it but I just can't find a game that I want to play on it.

The only one that come's very close is PGR.

I think that I will wait a little longer atleast until Gears of War is out that game is so freakingly awesome

yeah gears of war and halo3 are gonna be the deal breaker for people holding out on buying the system. right now i want: call of duty 3, assassain's creed, brothers in arms3, splinter cell4, gears of war, and halo3. after that im done.

two player co-op through the main game!!! thats what i love. my brother would always come over and we'd be up until 3-4 am playing the original halo back in the day. we got so good we could beat the Legendary from start to finish without dying.

I've had the 360 for like 3 weeks and love it. I have Tomb Raider and got addicited quickly. I played it for several hours a day for 5 days to beat it. Gears of War is gonna kick butt!! I have been playing the demo for Lost Planet which is also awesome!! Elder Scrolls is pretty sweet!! Need to pick it up though and get going some more on it.

added you to my list last night. after playing for a good 3 hours of the game in single player im a bit dissappointed, but it looks really nice. it just isnt a fast paced game like i was hoping it would be. this weekend i plan to give it an extensive testing in multiplayer. i guess im gonna stick with steel battalion for a bit longer.

~~i also got quake 4 for $35!!! i've only played an hour or so on that game, but its pretty fun and crazy. this is my first quake game so i wasnt sure what to expect. i recommend renting it if you want a decent FPS to play.
