To be expected, though....

Same situation with Dead Space 2's Foam Finger Gun.

I'm not familiar with that game, but I understand the point.
Developers make the coolest unlocks, super difficult to achieve and rightfully so.

Sometimes just unlocking things becomes so tiresome, that by the time you do unlock it, you've already played 100+ hours on the game. :gah:

You haven't played Gears of War have you? :lol

I see that Game Stop has a 50% trade in credit towards the XOne via their Power Plus. Its good until the 8th of December. I may snag that with some of my points and trade in my 360. Ryse would be a game I get for sure.

I traded in all my goods. I'm keeping the old systems. So I will have to wait a bit. :gah:

I kept a few things back because I knew I would be trading things in towards the XOne at somepoint. I'm in no rush and if that coupon is good until December 8th I've got time. Just have to make sure I have all the cords and such. :lol

Make sure you do. Apparently if your 360 was one of the ones that shipped with the AV cables, substituting an HDMI cable isn't good enough. Gamestop wanted to charge me to buy the AV cables just to trade in with the 360. My 360 has been sitting in the closet for a couple months now because I can't find the factory AV cables that came with it.

Dead Rising 8.3

One thing that stuck out in this review is they said there are frame rate issues and it doesn't look much better than current gen.

I think i would have skipped this one anyway. The other two were more annoying than fun to me.

Good to know. I can't recall if mine did or not. The HDMI cable I have is a xbox one. I just don't remember if its the one that came with the system or if I had it from the elite I had. I've been using it on the Gears system since I got it. The thing I'm more not sure of if I have it all or not is the little backs to the controllers. You'd think someone wouldn't lose those but I have. Especially since I have the rechargable battery deals.

Im sure there will be patches. Looks a fun game to play lol.

Glad Killer Instinct got a good score. Hopefully Ryse does well.

GameInformer 8.75: https://www.gameinformer.com/games/...11/18/game-informer-dead-rising-3-review.aspx

Destructoid 9.0: https://www.destructoid.com/review-dead-rising-3-265769.phtml

GameInformer says they didn't encounter frame rate hiccups. Maybe they received a different build?

Destructoid says it's one game that truly shows off next-gen technology.

Review scores all seem to be very similar. But comparing IGN, Destructoid and GameInformer's reviews...there are very different opinions and makes me wonder if they all played the same game.

I wonder how much of these issues can be solved by future patches or if the big day one patch will help with it?

Frame rate can be mended with patches, but to what extent I'm not sure. As I mentioned, GameInformer didn't encounter frame rate issues, so maybe some reviewers just played an earlier build of the game....or others received an xbox live update before playing it. We won't know for sure until the public gets their hands on it.
