Crafted in Cold Cast Porcelain, the sheer size, details and immense presence this piece has will make it undoubtedly THE centerpiece showcase for any X-Men statue collector.

X-Men - Realizing mutants were the next step in human evolution, Professor Charles Xavier gathered gifted teenagers to be his first class of students. His goal to protect and educate the next generation of **** superior, while pursuing a dream of harmony.

Sentinel - The Sentinel robots were created by noted anthropologist Doctor Bolivar Trask, who intended to use them to save humanity from mutants."

I thought this was on preorder years ago. It is finally going up now? Ok. If it has a preorder through Feb 2019, people will be lucky to maybe get this in hand by 2020.

It looks amazing but the price... I know it's 6 characters but still lol also comes in 4 boxes!

Is a shame we can't buy them separately, I'd prob pick a couple up then

It's a super cool piece, but the mix of characters is a huge miss IMO. If I'm paying $6K+ (shipped) for this I want all A List characters. Swap out Psylocke, Bishop and Jubilee for Wolverine, Cyclops and Gambit or Iceman or cable and you've got a Grail piece... no offense but a $6K diorama with Jubilee is not a grail IMO :rotfl

If this statue had better characters I'd buy it. I'm a HUGE xman fan but the character grouping doesn't make sense.

Colossus and beast sure. And jubilee has a straight face.. yeah she would be ******** her pants.

I am not going through 100+ pages, but was there any reason given why they left out the most popular "core" X-Men characters?
Not that I know of. But if I had to guess they don't own the license to the standard X men and or marvel said no.

There was to be another diorama with the other characters but with the size and price, they cancelled it and left it with what they tentatively had. I think.

The price on this just doesn't make any sense. I understand that there are 7 1/6 scale characters plus a large sentinel. even with each character costing around $300 and say $1,500 for the sentinel it should still only cost $3,600. Even at 3.6k I still feel this piece is very bland, but 6k...wow!!

Gambit, Rogue and Nightcrawler were all part of the original design of this. They weren't allowed to proceed with them because of some sort of licensing issue. Nobody ever adequately explained it, but it might have had something to do with the Gambit movie.

While only 1:6 scale, this MASSIVE cold-cast porcelain diorama is anything but small! Not for the faint-hearted and only for the ultimate collector with space and unrivalled passion for the X-Men, this is the display centerpiece designed to stun any viewer into a state of disbelief and wonder. When shown at conventions, collectors spend the most time gawking at this diorama and revelling in all the incredible details and dynamism - it's almost as if you are right there watching the battle yourself! Each painstakingly handcrafted statue is individually hand-painted with the highest possible quality finish. Sculpted by an All-Star team comprising of Suheryanto Hatmaja, Kris Lee, Romell Chopraa, George Georgy and Marthin Agusta, engineered to perfection by the XM development team, this piece is a testament to XM's madness in pushing beyond boundaries. Be warned - you will need a large display area for this beast!

I still think they picked the wrong characters for this. They should have replaced psylocke an jubilee with cyclops and wolverine. Regardless though, no way is this worth 6k to me.

It?s cool, but it just ain?t X-Men without Storm, Jean, Wolverine ect. for me.

Has anyone watched this particular XM statue? So they originally stated they would make a maximum of 300 diorama's. Guess what, they made 158 total. Other than custom statues and maybe some variants, this is the lowest statue production number I have seen on any mainstream mfg (XM, Sideshow, prime, etc) statue, and by far on anything for any xman. And I think the lowest variant numbers I have seen with other statues (Tweeterhead, Sideshow, etc) have been 100-150. Yes this statue is big, but there is nothing like it. I think this is going to be the #1 statue to own period. Sort of the Action 1 of statues.

The other fact is that in most cases, once these 3 box statue's hit a consumer's home, they may never leave. Reason is that the boxes are large and heavy. In addition, if your going to ship this item, and guarantee that it does not get damaged and the inner and outer boxes stay as new as possible, the three boxes have to go on a pallet. So your avg collector who bought one, and their are only 158 worldwide, may never be able to pack it back up and certainly not prep it for freight shipment. If they don't take care of the boxes and styrofoam, you will certainly not find one for sale "all original" in its original boxes, etc.

So fair warning guys........if you want one, you better get one from the dealer sellers selling their right up front because my guess is there is probably less than 20 of these even in the states never mind the difficulty as described above of 2nd and 3rd hand sales. 20 years from now, I expect to see one of these for sale on Heritage or Southeby's at $100k easy. No joke.

Low edition size means nothing if the statue is not desirable. Too many people all have the same issue with this, the wrong assortment of characters. It may be hard to find in the future if you really want one, but my guess is people won't be totally happy owning this.

Yeah, I'm a HUGE X-MEN fan. I think this looks cool but I'd rather have one Sentinel battling my 6 favorite X-MEN than have multiple Sentinels battling multiple X-MEN I like but don't love. The low ES on this personally doesn't mean a thing to me. I passed on it for a few reasons. XM made 999 HULKbusters but I can't find one anywhere near retail price. Even being a HUGE X-MEN fan....the Hulkbuster is the only statue I regret not buying when I had a chance to.
