"XM Studios is excited to present our next Marvel Premium Collectibles series statue, Carnage! The insane and terrifying super villain who even Venom AND Spidey is afraid of is immortalized in amazingly detailed 1:4 scale cold-cast porcelain. Each painstakingly handcrafted statue is individually hand-painted with the highest possible quality finish. Carnage is one of Spider-Man's deadliest foes, a psychopathic killer who has little regard for life. Spidey and Venom fans - you know your collection is incomplete without... CARNAGE!

Carnage was once a serial killer known as Cletus Kasady, and became Carnage after merging with the offspring of the alien symbiote called Venom during a prison breakout. The symbiote amplified his psychotic nature making him even less mentally stable than he had been previously, and therefore even more dangerous. An interesting note is that, unlike Venom, Carnage is a singular entity, referring to himself as "I" instead of "We", because the symbiote has actually merged into Kasady's bloodstream. Carnage is also the "father" of Toxin."

do the math, it's a thin veil LOL!! the dude spends all his time here and the other site just posting the same framed marketing photos to bump XM threads to the top. Zero commentary... Normal collectors post pics and comment on them, positive or negative... grumpy rarely (if ever) comments.

no posts on this thread all week except for the same exact XM Marketing photos posted by grumpy on 7/23, 7/24, 7/25 with no comments... if you didn't know any better you'd think they were ads LMAO!!

Now please show me an example of any other collector who posts marketing photos every day with no comments?

It´s a PO news, a news about new pictures from the tongue head and a news for the album.

I could write great statue, i love the new pictures and what an awesome album. Why must someone comment on a news in an forum if you post it by yourself. Would look very strange.

^^^Grumpy, I'm just calling it as I see it. 99% of your posts are basically XM ads: you post detailed framed marketing photos, you include links to the XM Facebook page & company website, you quote the statue description from the XM website and you include the price & PO date. AND you do this daily over and over for ALL their pieces... Just look at your top 3 posts on this page. Nobody puts in as much effort as you do marketing XM statues unless there's a personal benefit.

BTW I'm an XM fan so when you get your allocation of preorders send me a PM so I can buy statues from you at retail

It´s a passion from me, i explained it more than one time.

It started with critiques on XM Studios for bad paint jobs on Captain America, here on Freaks. Then i received my first piece, XM was the reason i´m still in this hobby. Now it´s a big community with friends, not just collectors. I do it for the love! I´m different? Yes, BOOM!

I agree about the heads, and also that they removed the symbiote goo on the base from the digital sculpt.

I hope they do a Carnage bust to go with their Venom bust, that would be awesome, no doubt.

I like him, but not for what he's going to cost to get to my door step. Even at retail/regular shipping cost this is still 1k$. Nope. Rather just purchase Spidey/Venom and pack my bags and go (from the spidey line).

Here's my video of Carnage from STGCC. Unfortunately I didn't get videos of the other heads as they changed them over very quickly. But I definitely liked the Cletus head the best personally.
