Well according to one member over on SF, and a very well respected on at that, his Wolverne order was cancelled do to the new sales restrictions placed on XM. There was actually another report, but that guy was brand new so who knows.

Gentlemen and ladies I think it is time you start making sure your butts are as covered as they can be. I don't know why XM hasn't made a statement yet, but I have heard enough from the right people to feel that this IS happening. I was incredibly surprised to hear about the losses of current POes, Anne I don't know what is up its that. However, I would be contacting your sellers guys.

Heck if anything.give XM the marvel global license. If I was the disney exec I wpuld see XM products and think wow, lets make more of those since people want them so bad and they look hella cool. I would then tell ss whats the problem, why are you complaining after you have been given everything

Very true. And in the end it's down to profit for these guys. For us collector, we get option to choose the best statue from whichever company it is that makes it. Why care about their distribution rules, we are collectors of the statue. Not running their business.

well, if i was running Disney I wouldnt do that ,, why?? because the 1000s of statues SS are making will be left unsold , the 999 Es made by XM are selling out within minutes, opening XM to US might actually bring down the profit for SS and in turn less for Disney

If I was Disney. I would see which company can sell more and adjust my starategy. Give the company that sells more higher ES, and the less performing company lower ES. Simple

Xms policy is max 1000 Es,, Sideshows unlimited... so guess who will bring in more money,, maybe that prob can be overcome by producing 10-20 marvel characters by XM each year, but again SS has the rights to make action figures, scales, bust and other type of collectibles but XM just 1/4

That strategy will ALWAYS brake in SSCs favour though. XM is essentially a 4-5 guy operation, and with their QC promise they will never be able to turn out as many statues as SSC. SSC put out more statues with just the Mary Jane Maquette then the XM Cap, Hulk, and BW combined, and that is NOT a bad thing.

Their price point has me at the point where it's tough for me to PO most of their stuff anymore. Unless I REALLY want something, I won't even consider POing early. Once I see good in hand pics, I will probably still nab some regulars. Most of their EXs aren't that great anymore either. Still, they are capable of making a great statue so you can't fall asleep on them. It's just SO TOUGH to tell which pieces will be amazing and which will be QC nightmares...
