I am not disagreeing divo. I am just saying that they range from SSC ranges from FANTASTIC to PISS POOR... it depends on the day of the week. I am willing to give them time to see if they work their crap out. If others aren't that is cool too. At least now those who wanted a "better" option have it.

Spidey, my comments were not aimed at you but rather Y4NK33. After years of customer feedback aimed at Sideshow, have they listened? Just have a bad feeling they will keep ignoring fan based requests/concerns, with or without XM buzz.

As far as mixed media is concerned, I have no problem with it, just not my cup of tea. What I do have a problem with is SS huge edition sizes, yes for Bats & Sups, in mixed media, which only grossly delays a release of a fully sculpted version. The way SS is releasing these is like "one size fits all"???!!! Don't know, but have these DC icons sold out yet? If not, that's my point & frustration. If yes, WTF are the fully sculpted versions? Need a drink now.

Well the COTD lines looks sick, as do a BUNCH of their pieces. Lets see if they get their **** together or if they continue to slide.

SO this thing looks awesome, but is this the final mold? itd be great to see the electrical wires hanging from the sentinel eye that's pierced by wolv's claw...

That is hard to tell... XM really listens to suggestions when it comes to their sculpts. If I was betting I would say this is pretty close to locked down.

Nope the icons haven't sold out, and it looks like SSC overshot the ES from a current collectors point of view. However, I have heard it said that part of the reasons for the GIANT DC ESs was to have them around for a good long while so that the new DC fans brought into SSC products with the introduction of various characters would be able to get at least the Regs of the Trinity for at least a couple of years. This was done to avoid new guys having to chase down the "grails" like they would have had to a year or two ago with the original Marvel Cap, Thor, and Hulk PFs. Now I am not saying that is true, and I am not saying it is "right" from a collectors point of view. I am just saying it was something I heard. In the end I hope that all aspects of the community will be happy. Will I buy and XM Spidey, Bats, or Supes... well that depends on the sculpt, the paint, and if I am in the right place to afford them. Will I buy the same from SSC.... well all the same things apply. At least I have the choice.

Nope, they've tuned us out and I agree it's %99.9 likely they'll keep ignoring the fan requests regardless of XM or any other player in the market. Thankfully, XM has stepped up in the biggest way imaginable and now we don't have to wait around anymore or take a plunge gambling on whether a product will be a mess. What a great time to be a collector.

I hear ya there, terrible time for the economy to be so bad hah. I am trying to clear out some stuff from my collection to fund newer pieces I want.

I hear ya! But, better to have too many choices at retail costs than none and stuck chasing grails that are fetching twice their original value or more.

Okay this is so ****ing amazing!

My one is issue is the way his body is posed with the unmasked. That's why I love the Sosa head, because Logan better be ******* pissed!

This unmasked looks freaking fantastic, but it's like ARH's Mermaids or SS's Vampirella; why are you grabbing your ****s? The language doesn't bode well with the rest of the body, or the head.


Overall though, this piece is marvelous. ****ing Michelangelo would be crying.

I remember they said they will do features when they think it could be an easy fix.

I do remember it really started to kick in more when they were adding a light feature on Widow's base.

With the eye(s) being removable, I could see these using some kind of button battery or whatever. It would definitely make for an easy fix if all you had to do was twist something off to get to the battery/led.
