I think the base should definately be revisited. It needs to tell more of a story and isn't definitive enough to say its a sentinel booster pack. It just looks like a satellite thing.

One of the members from statueforums suggested having nimrod as some sort of base. Nimrod to me is a scary BEAST! To have something like that under cables *victory* boot would be like 'wow, cable just effed up nimrod'.. All battle damaged blown to pieces all the mechanical details all there (now that we know XM brings out statues detailed to the gills).

Just something else. Man I hope XM frequent these forums cause I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this.

Other than that everything else...awesome. Just a base fix up and it's PERFECTION

Sentinel debris work because there are many sentinels. I don't think you can have a specific character hero/villain permanently defeated. Even though he's a sentinel, there's only one.

Do something original XM for the base,you will look better in the long run.

Yeh I'm still all for sentinel specific, but with this base I didn't even know or still even recognise it's a sentinel jet booster thing. Maybe if they make it more sentinel specific.

Not too sure but has anyone noticed the three scratch marks on the base.... Maybe a wolverine mark...? Or just randomness damage. I don't know but to me, in the marvel world, three marks = most likely wolverine was here

I think all the bases have been original and have a nice theme to them. Most companies you get a rock, stone, or mud base.

Once the current base is painted with sentinel colors, wouldn't the base be more recognizable as a sentinel jet booster? IMO, it will be.

The current base is fine. Just add more sentinel colors to it.

Looks good anyway but I don't get why the base is all this broken stuff. It's more like a crashed plane or something... however there's even a radioactivity icon... I just don't get it lol

It goes with all the other XM X-Men statue bases which are various parts of Sentinels... If you group them all together it will make sense, but on it's own it's a bit confusing...

Well, yes. They're meant to be displayed together, hence the themed bases, but you can also display a piece alone.

Personally I would like a base that resembles the ruins of the future. I think this base is to busy. It looks awesome but Cable himself is very detailed and has a lot going on. He needs a boring base to bring out his coolness. I worry a complicated base like this will make the piece a little chaotic

Concept art looks nice. I can see both sides of the coin though. I tend to fancy the 'go all out' approach. Overwhelm the senses!
